Pennington Smart Seed Professional Grass Seed Tri-Fescue Tall Fescue is a turf-type tall fescue blend.  It produces a fine-textured grass ideal for landscaping, lawns, parks, golf courses, and athletic fields. This unique blend offers exceptional persistence under tough weather and traffic conditions and drought tolerance. It has also shown improved resistance to fungal pathogens like brown patch, fusarium patch, and leaf spot.  It is Water Star Qualified, which means that it promotes water conservation by requiring minimal watering while maintaining plant health.

PLANTING AND GROWING INSTRUCTIONS:

Establishment:

Lime soil to 6.0-7.0 pH and follow soil test recommendations for fertilization. Under ideal conditions, germination begins in 6 days. Full germination may take up to 14 days. Subject to germination timing, first mowing may begin at 21 days after sowing.

Seeding Rates:

Permanent Turf, Athletic Fields, Home Lawns, and Roughs: 5-10 lbs/1000 sq ft (2-5 kgs/100 sq meters)

am looking for a recommendation for a grass seed variety combination for a shade sun lawn in Cincinnati Ohio I most often do not water because I have 10,000 square feet in odd geometric configuration. I AM planning to oversee THIS FALL. IT IS OCTOBER 3 TODAY.
