My mother used this product years ago and had the most beautiful plants ever. I also used it until it was no longer available in local stores. I have fertilized plants a couple of times since receiving and it seems to be as effective as ever, creating beautiful plants and blooms.

Q
How much Peters Professional 20-20-20 would I use per gallon of water?

I have a 4 gallon back pack sprayer. Would I need to mix it in a different container before putting it in the backpack sprayer to keep from clogging up my sprayer? How often should I have to spray this product on my lawn? I have St. Augustine Floratam grass. And is this the best product to use in a backpack sprayer? Thanks.

A

The mixing ratio for Peters Professional 20-20-20 General Purpose Fertilizer is 1 tsp per gallon of water. It is recommended that you fill your tank up half way, put the product in, fill the tank up the rest of the way and agitate. This should not clog your sprayer because the product will dissolve in water. It is not recommended to leave a mixed solution inside of your sprayer. Application rates depend solely on the desired ppm of desired Nitrogen. Please read over the Product Information Sheet for further assistance.
