PiGNX Bio-Repellent Products utilize Capsaicin (Hot Peppers) as the active ingredient. Capsaicin works by irritating nerve-endings. Imagine the irritation one feels by eating hot chili peppers or by rubbing these peppers on the skin. This is the same effect birds and animals feel when they encounter the Bio-Repellent products. Capsaicin has been proven to repel thousands of pests for hundreds of years. PiGNX has finally developed the unique delivery system to make the Capsaicin Effective, Safe, Long-Lasting , Easy to Apply and Easy to Clean.
Bio-Repellent products must be applied in at least a ½ inch thick bead. Applications differ with the target pest but, with every pest, it is always best to apply a thick bead to ensure the target pest comes in contact with enough product to stick to it. The other reason for this thick application is, with heavy infestations, the product can be carried away on the pest. Please read application instruction for each individual product.
This product requires a caulking gun to dispense the product.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Use one 10 oz tube for every ten (10) linear feet. Lay down a continuous bead of PiGNX Caulking Gel in a zigzag pattern using at least a ½ inch bead that will allow the pigeons to easily and frequently step on the gel (larger bead up to 1 inch is acceptable depending on treatment surface characteristics). Use as necessary to treat roosting areas to ensure complete bird dislocation is maintained. Clean and dry surfaces before application for best results. If surface cannot be cleaned before application, PiGNX can be applied on top of soiled and damp surfaces if necessary. For best results, clean and wipe dirt from application surfaces prior to application. Do not expose yourself directly to bird feces. Apply to surface areas where pigeons frequent. To ensure thorough coverage, treat areas that pigeons use to roost on, such as those listed on the label.
Note: Porous Surfaces like concrete, stucco, wood and tile may require a barrier applied to prevent the absorption of mineral oils from the PiGNX. If the product becomes hardened you know that it has been absorbed. See Sealing Porous Surface.

Unfortunately, this gel (bird repellent) did not work for me. I live in NYC. Maybe NY pigeons are not afraid of sticky gel with cayenne pepper as (one of the ingredients). I am still fighting with them. And they continue to leave poop behind on top of the gel! Very disappointing.
