Although Pramitol 25E has considerable activity through foliar contact, much of its activity is through roots; therefore, its effectiveness is dependent on rainfall to move it into the root zone. Very dry soil conditions and lack of sufficient rainfall may result in poor weed control. Be sure to use the recommended amount of water per the product label.
When applying Pramitol 25E to a small area with backpack or pump-up sprayers with capacities of 1 - 3 gals., calibrate the sprayer so that 1 gal. of water covers 500 sq. ft. If green foliage is present, part or all of the water can be substituted with oil to provide burndown. This would be recommended instead of mixing with Roundup.
You could potentially use a hose-end sprayer to apply Pramitol 25E if you can correctly calibrate your sprayer and avoid any potential contact or runoff to any desirable plants. For susceptible perennial grasses, you would use 12 - 18 oz per 1,000 square feet in sufficient water. For hard-to-kill perennial weeds and grasses, you would use 22 - 29.4 oz. per 1,000 sq ft. It is most important to use the correct amount of herbicide for the area you are treating and then using sufficient water or rainfall to irrigate it into the soil than it is to use a specific amount per gallon of water. Keep in mind that Pramitol 25E is generally noncorrosive to equipment, but may cause swelling or more rapid deterioration of hoses and fittings containing natural rubber. Per the Pramitol 25E manufacturer, you should wash the area well with soap and water and allow it to dry completely. They recommend putting a barrier over it once it has dried (a towel or a floor mat) for at least a couple of weeks.
We would recommend keeping Pramitol 25E Herbicide applications at least 10 feet away and do not spray over the top if open, cover during application to prevent drift/over spray from contacting
Per the product label, do not use Pramitol 25E to sloped areas where desirable vegetation or nearby water bodies may be located downhill of the application area, since injury to desirable plants and other vegetation may result
Pramitol 25E Herbicide becomes rainfast in about 4-6 hours. Since this product is a soil sterilant, it will kill any desirable plants, trees, shrubs, and turfgrass near the treated areas. It is recommended to avoid applications on slopes or grades where there is a risk the chemical would come into contact with roots or desirable grass areas.

Pramitol 25E Herbicide is a soil sterilizer/vegetation management concentrate. This product is labeled for waterhemp but not for honeysuckle. Honeysuckle often is killed best by products containing Triclopyr since its in the woody vine family and that ingredient works best on those type of plants.
Please keep in mind, Pramitol 25E is a bare ground herbicide and will last for up to a year in the soil to keep new plants from emerging. This herbicide is very very slow to kill existing plants, so most customers who are looking for a long term bare ground treatment will mix Roundup for faster burn down of the existing weeds and grass.

Yes, applications of Pramitol 25E Herbicide still need to be kept atleast 10ft away from wells/cisterns as per the product label, “applications around a cistern or well may result in contamination of drinking water or groundwater.”

Pramitol 25E Herbicide needs to be mixed at the rate of 8 ounces per each gallon of water at the lowest dilution and can be used up to 32 ounces per gallon for harder to kill brush. Time of plant death will depend on how much product is absorbed through the root system, if it is irrigated after the application and if the plant is under any stress to cause it to not absorb the product as quickly. Be advised visible results can take days to weeks due to these factors.

The Pramitol 25E has such a long soil residual that you can't really predict how far it may move so would not be advised to apply around anything desirable nor around edibles.
