Still have fleas
By Kristen on 01/20/2012
I didn't have an overabundace of fleas. Just saw a few on my cats (2), but i know if you see one then you have more. So I purchased 3 cans of Precor 2000. I used as directed, mopped and vacuumed everything, washed bedding, anything I could. I vacuumed every other day for 3 weeks, what a pain, but I did it. I still had some fleas on my cats so I retreated. Still have fleas so wasnt real impressed, rather let down by the product : )

Doesn't seem to work
By Lynn on 04/16/2013
No stars actually. I purchased this for ticks in the house. We sprayed everywhere once then again 2 weeks later. What convinced me it wasn't working was when I put 2 ticks in 2 separate ziplocks. One I sprayed till it was wet and the other I just misted some in the bag. Both were alive and moving even after 2 days.

wasted money
By M. on 09/07/2011
Applied as directed ( several times ) until cans were empty. I have a 1600 sq ft one floor home that has a flea problem. Pets brought them in and we can't seem to get rid of them. We heard about this fantastic product guaranteed to work and purchased two cans. We followed all of the directions to the letter and went through two cans and still have a flea problem. This product does not control growth as we are catching many small ( young ) fleas in bowls of soapy water lit up at night and the infestation has spread to all rooms of our house. Don't waste your money. Call your insurance company to see if you are covered and get an exterminator quickly.

Does not work at all !
By Lisa on 08/30/2019
I have been using this for months and it does not work. I have a very small one bedroom apartment and one indoor cat. And I live in Colorado. I somehow got fleas and started my cat on a topical flea medication and bought precore 2000 at my vet's recommendation. After 3 cans and a few months nothing got better so I changed flea medications and bought 2 more cans of precore 2000 and used them and .. I still have fleas !! Are you kidding me!!?? I'm not talking about an Infestation either. I've never been bitten but my cat has a flea allergy so he's miserable. Just one bite can have him scratching for days. He's on medication for it now and it's costing me $$. So no I don't reccomend this precore 2000.

Precor 2000 Plus
By Susan on 12/15/2016
Very oily product. Had to mop floor twice to remove residue. Spray quit working after a short spraying, chemical was dripping out in foam. Definitely would not use it on furniture because of the oil base. Did not kill fleas.
Expert response:
We are sorry you were unhappy with the Precor 2000. It is very important to shake the can well before applying and to hold the can upside down, 2-3 feet from the surface you are treating. It is best to apply in burst no longer than 10 seconds. If you spray continuously for too long or do not shake the can well, then it is possible that it will foam rather than spray evenly. For even faster initial knockdown of fleas, we suggest the new Precor 2625 Premise Spray:

not effective
By Jd on 11/14/2020
This stuff leaves a greasy film on everything. Didnt work for us- still battling fleas from a couple rescue animals even after visiting the vet, and working very hard for 3 weeks on vacuuming, and washing the entire house daily
