    Q
Can I put an IGR product in my carpet cleaner vacuum?
I have a light carpet cleaner vacuum. It leaves a small amount of water in the carpet as does most carpet vacs. Hence the need to allow them to dry 1-3 hours. Would this be ok, for it would really force the product through out the carpet? If so, hot or cold water?
    A

Precor IGR Concentrate or any other IGR cannot be used in carpet cleaner machines.  They are meant to be used in pump sprayers or other approved equipment only.

    Q
Can we spray Precor on laminate wood flooring?
We are also using Talstar on the rugs and carpet. Do we retreat after 14 days
    A

While Precor IGR Concentrate can be applied to flooring, when you are dealing with fleas you would direct treatment to cracks and crevices of hard flooring as the hard surface is not a habitable place for them.  Also Talstar P cannot be used as a broadcast on carpets or rugs or any other interior surface as directed on the product label.  You can only use it inside in cracks and crevices.  Any carpet/rugs treated in this manner should be shampooed/steamed to remove any residual. Fleas treatments are done every 2 weeks with approved insecticides for carpets, such as Onslaught along with the Precor IGR.  Please refer to our How To Get Rid of Fleas guide for complete advice.
