Prime Source Halo 5WDG Select is a powerful herbicide that controls sedges and other unwanted weeds. Prime Source Halo 5WDG Select controls weeds such as cocklebur, flatsedge, Galinsoga, mallow, Ladysthumb, fleabane, and annual and green Kyllinga. It provides post-emergent control of landscape ornamental areas and turfs where unwanted weeds are actively growing.
Halo 5WDG contains the same active ingredient found in Sedgehammer+. It is proven to eliminate sedges without harming turfgrasses, ornamentals, and shrubs. This nutsedge killer is ideal to use on roadsides, sports turf, school grounds, sod farms, residential and commercial turfgrass, non-crop industrial sites, public recreation areas, and established woody ornamentals in landscape areas. It is gentle to cool and warm-season turfgrasses, plus, it may be tank mixed with other non-ionic surfactants. For safety, avoid using on edible plants and gardens. One 13.5 gram pouch mixed 1 to 2 gallons of water can treat up to 1,000 square feet. Sold in a 13.5-gram pack.

Special Features

Herbicide symptoms are likely to show within 2 weeks as a necrotic ring at the base of the plant, even though the leaves and stems remain green and a deep leathery green in color. Note: This product already contains a non-ionic surfactant. No additional mixtures are necessary.
Boom-less Ground Applications:
Applicators are required to use a medium or coarser droplet size (ASABE S572.1) for all applications.
Do not apply when wind speeds exceed 10 miles per hour at the application site.
Do not apply during temperature inversions.

Setting nozzles at the lowest effective height will help to reduce the potential for spray drift.

USE PRECAUTIONS
For optimum results, do not mow turf for 2 days before or 2 days after application.
Avoid applications when rainfall is forecasted to occur within 4 hours.
This product may be used on established seeded, sodded, or sprigged turfgrass. Allow the turf to develop a good root system and uniform stand before application.
Treated areas may be overseeded with annual or perennial ryegrass or bermudagrass, 2 weeks after application.
Avoid application of Halo 5WDG Select when turfgrass or nutsedge is under stress since turf injury and poor nutsedge control may result.
Avoid excessive overlap of the spray.
Annual and perennial herbaceous ornamentals, including color plants, may be injured when transplanted into landscaped areas treated with Halo 5WDG Select.
USE RESTRICTIONS
Do not store Halo 5WDG Select in solution. Once the product is mixed with water apply immediately.
Do not apply as an over the top spray to desirable flowers, ornamentals, vegetables, shrubs or trees.
Do not apply this product to the golf course putting greens.
Do not apply this product through any type of irrigation system.
Do not apply this product by air.
