Prime Source MSO Surfactants is a distinctive combination of methylated refined seed oil, surfactants and particular emulsifiers. Many labels of herbicides require or recommend adding of methylated refined seed oil. Prime Source MSO Surfactants is absorbed into the plants waxy cuticle, allowing the herbicide to spread its active ingredient more efficiently. When added to the tanks mixture, Prime Source MSO Surfactants produces an oily texture for the solution, permitting the solution to stay in its liquid state much longer after the application. This treatment will slow the evaporation process and will also give the plant more time to absorb the herbicide active ingredient. It penetrates waxy cuticles and is effective during hot, dry conditions. It slows evaporation of actives and works on both grassy and broadleaf weeds.

A selected blend of modified vegetable oils and nonionic surfactants, Prime Source MSO Surfactants will improve the performance of spray applications by enhancing the penetration of active ingredients through the weather hardened cuticle of targeted pests to the mode of action site. Prime Source MSO Surfactants slows drying time which enables better uptake of the pesticide and more complete pest control.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Follow the directions on all pesticide labels. Use Prime Source MSO Surfactants with any pesticide that requires or suggests the use of an MSO, ESO, MVO or other oil-based adjuvants. The first time the product is used, perform a compatibility (jar) and phytotoxicity test before application.

It is not recommended to mix a surfactant such as Prime Source MSO Select Surfactant with Strobe unless your experience has shown it would not harm the plants. Per the product label: Do not tank mix Strobe 50WG with other fungicides, insecticides, herbicides, fertilizers, adjuvants, etc., unless local experience indicates that the tank mix is safe to ornamental plants. Propiconzole fungicides also do not list that a surfactant is needed so we would not recommend using one.
