Product Overview

Bromacil/Diuron 40/40 Herbicide is a selective herbicide product that is designed for controlling the annual and perenniel weed population in citrus and noncrop plant areas. The product works by being absorbed through the roots of the weeds, and works best when applied onto moist soil and additional moisture is added within two weeks of application. Just place the product in a power sprayer, add water and stir until thoroughly mixed, combine any additional adjuvants or herbicides to the mix, then spray the mixture evenly on the target area at a minimum rate of 10 gallons per acre. Check the attached product label for the right rate for the target plant. Symptoms may not appear on the weeds for a few weeks, as the product must be taken into the root through moisture. The product works great as part of an Integrated Pest Management program, to reduce the likelihood of a weed gaining resistance to this or other products.
