Strike Midge Control Liquid is a unique formula with an insect growth regulator that is highly effective in controlling midges, filter flies, and other aquatic insect pests that can infest wastewater facilities. With its active ingredient, it ensures that it reaches all areas that pests breed and need treatment. Ideal to use in influent structures, trickling filters, clarifiers, standing water, or other areas of wastewater treatment facilities. For every million gallons of wastewater passing the injection point, apply Strike Midge Control at the rate of 5 fluid ounces. Available in a 128-ounce bottle.

Details

MIXING AND HANDLING INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. SHAKE WELL BEFORE USING. STRIKE may separate on standing and must be thoroughly agitated prior to dilution.
  2. Do not mix with oil; use clean equipment.
  3. Partially fill spray container with water; then add the labeled amount of STRIKE, agitate, and complete filling. Mild agitation during application is desirable. Accomplish agitation by use of recirculation pump, mixer, air pump, or other suitable equipment.
  4. Use spray solution within 48 hours; always agitate before spraying.

APPLICATION SITES:

Waste Water Treatment Facilities:

  • Apply STRIKE to sewage as it flows into trickling filters, sludge drying beds, clarifiers, holding ponds, lagoons, influent structures, stagnant or standing water, or other areas of wastewater facilities where pests are a problem.
  • Apply STRIKE as the sewage enters (influent areas) the targeted processing area. Failure to add the material at the influent side may result in erratic results.
