The Allure Stored Product Moth Kit - 24 pack, previously known as Prescription Treatment 4 Allure Moth Kit 24 pack (623441), attracts and traps moths by releasing controlled pheromones. The product is mainly used and placed in food warehouses, near food processing plants and other facilities where moths are possibly present. It can also be used in residential kitchen and pantry area to catch and eliminate moths. It can be effective on catching Indian meal, Mediterranean, snout moths and other stored product pests. Terribly Ineffective - Allure MD For Stored Product Moths

Had a moth outbreak. Had a few of the old Allure products for moths which are incredible. With the old ones, you would open the product and moths would immediately show up and get caught. The new model - we'd watch moths show interest and fly through them There were maybe one to two moths per box. Will be asking for a refund.

The last place I lived, was infested with clothes and carpet moths. I went through hell just keeping the larvae out of my clothes and out hair. What part of the cycle is this product most effective?
Prescription Treatment Allure Moth Kit 24 pack only traps the adults, as they are flying around. The larvae would usually be in cracks and crevices or on food materials and would need to be cleaned/removed as much as possible. You can use residual spray products like Gentrol Complete to treat in crevices of cabinets, drawers, shelves, basesboards, etc.

Allure MD For Stored Product Moths-24 pack is specifically designed to attract and trap moths by releasing controlled pheromones.
You can refer to our Pantry Pest Kit and use D-Fense NXT with included crevice tool (straw) for spraying in cracks and crevices around shelves and walls to kill pantry pest larvae in harborage areas, in addition to moth traps and proper sanitation.
There is no assembly required with the Allure MD For Stored Product Moths Per the product label, place dispensers every 20 to 40 feet at chest height along the perimeter of the area to be treated. Place additional dispensers on the interior support structures (target 1 dispenser every 500 to 1,500 ft2). Replace dispensers every 90 days.

We sprayed into the fireplace all the cracks we saw and sealed it up. That's where we thought they were coming from well what is left will they die on their own eventually?
Do you by chance know what kind of moths you have? Allure MD For Stored Product Moths-24 pack is only labeled for a certain species of moths, you can refer the label to see the complete lists of moths. Depending on the moth you have may or may not be the reason as to why you are not seeing results, in the case that they are not labeled for them. Also, how many traps do you have out & what is the size of area you treating? How long do you the traps out before replacing & how often are you checking them? Have you by chance been able to locate the source of the infestation? With pantry pests there is an affected source of some sort & the moths will not be fully controlled until that is cleaned up/removed. Have you been using a residual product aside from just the lures & if so how far away from the traps are you spraying? Regarding the fireplace, depending on the product, it will have a residual that will affect the moths if they land where you sprayed. However, you should not spray anything inside of a fireplace. Is there anything in the fireplace that may be attracting the moths there? For example there could be acorns from squirrels attracting them there & they will continue to come back until they are removed.
