Gentrol Complete Aerosol is new and improved. It is a potent broad-spectrum insecticide formulated to kill and control tough to control insects pests both indoors and outdoors. This insecticide is a combination IGR (Insect Growth Regulator) and Adulticide. IGR works on contact by breaking and disrupting the life cycle of the insect's future generations. While Adulticide immediately knocks down pests in the adult stage which instantly disrupts the reproduction process. It features (S)-hydroprene, a hormone mimic that controls insects by interfering with normal hormone levels to prevent growth and/or maturation. With the combination of Lambda-Cyhalothrin, it provides control of German cockroaches, drain and fruit flies, stored product pests and others listed. It is low-odor for better tolerance during application and has been approved for use in sensitive areas.This particular product comes in a 18-ounce aerosol spray can.

Great aerosol

Works great on every application so far. So basically birth control in a can, with the added bonus of knockdown, and residual! Roaches and fruit flies are my go to with this. Only downfall with product, is nozzle leaks when I apply product, causing product to leak on me.

MUST BUY

I had a German cockroach invasion that my girlfriend brought over from her parents house. I first tried using generic products from your local block and brick store such as the Ortho Home Defense Max and the plastic baits by Combat and another brand. The chemicals I just listed worked, but only slightly. I was so afraid I was never going to get rid of the German roaches bc of fast they multiply and how hard they hide. After doing some short research, my internet showed Do Your Own and I read the reviews. At this point, I had nothing to lose since I wasn't calling a professional exterminator and signing up for a contract. I chose the gel bait, I was skeptical at first bc I've never used them and didn't want the stuff all over the kitchen. However it applied so nicely and accurately and discreetly. I also used the Gentrol complete regulator to disrupt their breeding cycle. I flushed out the roaches that I could find remaining with the spray and only had to use 3/4 of one tube of gel bait for my size kitchen. The gentrol spray worked instantly killing whatever live roaches were still around. And the residual spray obviously kept on working since I never saw one roach again. I still don't have them and it's been almost a month. I would only recommend using Do Your Own for any pest control or other needs you may have. Their products are COMMERCIAL STRENGTH and their team of members are always willing to help and very knowledgeable. They don't try to upsell you or put something off on you that you don't need for the money. They truly want to help you win this war against pests. And I add my victory to their expertise. Really Good Product!

I purchased this product nearly a month ago. The results are fantastic, the cockroach population in my residence is all but gone. We are about to do another treatment to get rid of the "hangers on" that try to remain. We plan to purchase an additional couple of cans to keep on hand "just in case." The roaches were running amuck now they are dropping like flys. We noticed an infestation of roaches after the exterminator came for the bedbug problem.A friend recommended this product. The first day we sprayed the entire house. The next day the roaches were dropping like flys. This product is very effective along with the roach bait gel.

And is there a residual?
Gentrol Complete Aerosol? is a non-repellent product that the insects can not sense where it has been applied, thus insuring they will come in contact with the treated surfaces. Gentrol Complete Aerosol has about a 30 day residual.

Gentrol Complete Aerosol is only labeled for German cockroaches and not palmetto bugs. Gentrol IGR would be used for all roaches in general.

As with any insecticide, you should keep your children and pets out of the area treated with Gentrol Complete Aerosol until the application has completely dried, then it is safe for them to return.

For German roaches, which is the better product? Are they both non-repellant?
Both Zenprox Xtend Aerosol and Gentrol Complete Aerosol are repellents labeled to treat cockroaches. Gentrol Complete Aerosol contains 2 active ingredients and Zenprox Xtend Aerosol contains 5 actives. Zenprox Xtend Aerosol has been discontinued.
