We would suggest doing a jar test first with the Butyrac 200 and ProSedge Herbicide prior to tank mixing them to ensure they mix well and emulsify to get an even application. Additionally when ever mixing two products you must follow the more restrictive label when making your application.
ProSedge Herbicide can be applied to listed turfgrasses that are established without harming the lawn. You will apply 0.03 oz. per 1 - 2 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. (add 2 tsp. of non-ionic surfactant per gallon of water) 2/3 - 1 1/3 oz. per per acre.
ProSedge Herbicide is not labeled to be used in pastures and would not be safe to do so. AXXE Broad Spectrum Herbicide is labeled for yellow nutsedge and could be used if that is your target weed. If not we suggest that you contact your local cooperative extension office for recommendations on products that can safely be used for other sedge in this area.
The rate of ProSedge Herbicide is 2/3 - 1 1/3 oz. per per acre in however much water it takes to cover the area.
We would not recommend mixing a combination product like 4-Speed XT with additional herbicides, especially in the summer when your cool-season grass is under a lot of stress in the heat. Keep in mind that Lontrel is not for use on residential lawns. Neither ProSedge, nor 4-Speed, nor Lontrel will targe poa annua. Most poa annua really should be dead or dying by now due to the summer heat. You can use a pre-emergent for it in late summer/early fall such as Pendulum 2G.
No, ProSedge Herbicide is not specifically labeled to control dollarweed (aka pennywort).
