    works just fine

    By John on 08/22/2020

mixed per instructions in a gallon of water in hand sprayer. added blue dye and spreader sticker as suggested. Had a bad front yard of nut grass on Bermuda lawn. first application in a few days yellowing started and nutgrass has disappeared. I did this 3 different times of a 3 week period. Had nutgrass in flower beds and work fine there too. You just have to stay after nutgrass. On each gallon I only used .09 oz in each gallon, spoon is included with product. No side affects to lawn.

    ProSedge Works Great

    By Paul on 10/20/2017

My back yard was inundated with netsedge for the past two years to the point that in some areas that's all that there was. My usual 3X per year application of Trimec did absolutely nothing. Sprayed ProSedge 3 weeks ago at the suggested application rate and I'm happy to say that all of the nutsedge is totally dead with not a bit of damage to the Bermuda grass. I was a little skeptical given the miniscule amount used in a 25 gallon sprayer tank but it worked better than I imagined.

    ProSedge

    By Will on 07/30/2017

The product worked very well on killing off the nutsedge in my yard without harming my fescue. I have used other products that claim to kill nutsedge but most just burn it for it to return. This actually killed it. yellowed in one week and dead in two.

    Sedge

    By Charlie on 11/06/2015

Applied Pro Sedge about 2 weeks ago. Too early to see results. Have to be very precise with application rate. Hope for the best to get rid of this lawn cancer.

    Great Product

    By Tom on 09/19/2016

Used 1 spoon (provided with product) to each 1 gal of water for spot application. Added 2 teaspoons surfactant per gallon also. Saw results in 5 days. Weeds continue to die until gone. About 2 weeks.

Great Stuff and cheaper than Sledgehammer

    By Paras on 08/16/2019

This stuff works great, but make sure you use a surfactant. More importantly, you will see yellowing within the first 8 days, then once you mow you will not see any hedge in the area that you treated.

    Smoked my Sedge

    By Steve on 05/08/2020

Mixed it in the tank and boy did it smoke these Sedges. Remember it needs a little bit of time to kill it all the way to the roots. Follow the label and enjoy!

    Prosedge - the very best

    By John on 11/03/2018

Prosedge is the greatest. But do not spray mid-day. Only spray as late in the evening as you can. If nutgrass is high, don't bother "top spraying" the waxy top-side to waste the product. Make sure your lawn is not stressed. Mow your lawn and wait a day or two when the nutgrass has leaves 1-2 inches high and spray in the late evening when the pores under the leaves are open to absorb the chemical. Only spray when temperature is below 90 degrees or less so the chemical evaporates slower and absorption volume is greater. Do it this way and get rid of your nutgrass. This is the greatest product that assures the removal of nutgrass. Make sure you mix in an oil like product (memory lapse, forgot the name) that sticks to the waxy top side of the plant also. Try it, you'll like it. An elderly 84 year old ex-farmer.

    Controlling Nut Sedge

    By John on 09/13/2019

Summary: ProSedge works, it controls Nut Sedge. I recommend it fully. I have had an issue with Nut Sedge for the last 3 years. I learned about ProSedge from a Landscape worker and decided to try it. After receiving the product, I followed the instructions and made the first application to my yard. I could see a difference in color of the growth within 4-5 days. At 10 days I estimate 80% of the Nut Sedge was dead or in an advanced state of dying. I made a second application. The one thing about Nut Sedge is seems like there is always new growth. Now after 20 days total, with 2 applications, my yard appears to be 95% free of the unwanted growth. This is the best my yard has been in over 3 years. I plan to do at least 1 more application later this month to attack the new growth and any growth that I did not see in the first 2 applications.

    Good Stuff, Good Price

    By Perry on 10/26/2018

I use Halosulfuron-methyl, the active ingredient in ProSedge Herbicide, to control purple nutsedge in my centipedegrass lawn. It does an excellent job. Now if only my neighbors would get rid of theirs, which spreads to my lawn by wind-blown seed or via bird droppings. DoMyOwn has value pricing for this chemical, which does its job if applied according to directions. DoMyOwn also filled my order quickly and with no problem. As a certified Master Gardner, I recommend this product to you for use in your southern turfgrass for yellow or purple nutsedge. I recommend DoMyOwn for its good service and good pricing.

    Works Better Than SedgeEnder

    By Eric on 09/17/2018

So far, so good. Worked well for my late season (September 1st) application on my yard, which was pretty drastically infected with nutsedge. After two mowings, the grass is satisfyingly level, with only a few patches of nutsedge seemingly returning. I'll hit it again 4-6 weeks after my first application and hope for close to 100% success. I'm sure I'll need more for the spring but I'm excited and think this will finally result in victory. Also like I said in my title, I used the cheap "sedge-ender" product on Amazon the past 2 years but it really did not lead to victory at all, maybe it gave some minor annoyance to the nutsedge.

    IT WORKS!!!

    By Ray on 09/14/2018

For the past three years I have been using Sedgehammer Plus, I was seeing less nutsedge popping up over time but I still had a lot of it and did not want a new hobby. The percentaage of the active product is much higher in ProSedge and it made a huge difference!! One application and the nutsedge is not coming back! Based on the pattern I am so familiar with using Sedgehammer I should see it slowely dying out with more popping up but it is gone, all of it. I am never going back to Sedgehammer, I don't need a new hobby!

    Bye bye nutgrass

    By Matt on 09/07/2018

This woorked great on killing the nutgrass in my bermuda and centipede grass. It took about 3 weeks before it was completely dead. It has been over a month and no regrowth of any nutgrass in area sprayed.

    Prosedge

    By Ben on 08/28/2020

Prosedge works as good as the sedgehammer packets. Would highly recommend as it is cheaper and you get more uses with this than the individual packets. Bottle is only about 1/2 full, but weighs out correctly.

    It works

    By David on 07/20/2018

Mixed it up, from very poor instructions, sprayed it on and it is killing the sedge grass without harming the St. Augustine grass or other plants. It takes a couple of weeks to see results, but it works.

    Works!

    By Frank on 06/19/2020

This worked perfectly. I had to treat the areas twice as the nutsedge was fairly big by the time I was able to spray it. You have to be patient because it is a VERY slow kill (two weeks) but it did kill it. Just follow the label and you shouldn't be disappointed.

    Excellent product

    By Ryan on 04/12/2019

Works as well or better than sedge hammer and you get more product for the money if you buy the the bottle. Knocked out all the sedge in my St Augustine Floratam and didn't hurt the grass at all and this was during a warm March

I have a lot of nutsedge

    By Fyrcapn on 10/23/2018

This stuff seems to work well. Its hard for me to tell just yet as it is fall and this is the 1st time I've used this product.it does tell you it may take another application in about 6 weeks. I messed up the last 2 years and didnt use any pre-emergents. so things like barn grass, crabgrass and nutsedge is everywhere. So I'm playing a game of catch up. I have different areas of about 1 acre of lawn. and of course where these things grew not being noticed was thick. when dead it leaves large bare patches. so reseeding. I am going to do 2 pre-emergents next year about 3 months apart. I dont want to go thru all this trouble again. everything grows like mad in the summer in South carolina. Buy the big bottle if you have lots to do like me.
