The Protecta Landscape Bait Station comes with 4 vertical metal rods to secure the bait inside of the station.

Is a trap required?
Do the Protecta Landscape Bait stations work with bait only (no trap) by poisoning the rat? Is a trap in addition to the bait required?

A

The Protecta Landscape Bait Stations can be used with just rodent bait or you can use it with just a T-Rex Rat Trap. A trap is not required.

Yes, Depending on the size of the squirrel they could potentially get into the station and consume some of the bait.

What happens to cats or Hawks who eat them? I'm concerned that other animals will be harmed by these traps.

Which rodenticide bait are you using inside of this station? The likelihood of secondary poisoning is generally low, but it is more likely with anti-coagulant baits.

Does the Protecta Landscape Bait Station come with a custom fully enclosed brick?
According to the manufacturer product video (https://youtu.be/fUU30IlJP30) each of these type of stations should include one.

The Protecta Landscape Bait Station does not come with a brick. The Protecta EVO Weighted Landscape would be the one that does come with a brick.
