565 Plus XLO aerosol is meant to be applied along baseboards and in crack and crevices, places that the pregnant mother would not contact. This product does have a slight odor, but other than that it is very safe to use in the home with children and pets or mothers-to-be. Once 565 Plus XLO is dry, it will quickly degrade and will not linger in the environment.
Yes, 565 Plus XLO can work to treat for bed bugs. We suggest to take the bed apart and treat cracks, joints and the interior of the framework. Treat mattresses and boxsprings; especially tufts, folds, and edges. Also treat picture frames, moldings and all cracks and crevices in the room. Do not use in patient rooms in hospitals and nursing homes for treatment of bed bugs. It is NOT recommended for the sole protection from bed bugs.
