    565 Plus is safe for use in a home with animals as long as you follow the product label. Be sure the pets are out of the area while you are applying the product and they can return to the area as soon as it has dried.

    what is a good flush for roaches to flush them out we used it in Ga.

    565 Plus XLO would be a great product to use to flush roaches out of hiding. It contains pyrethrins which are highly irritating to roaches and will usually flush them right out of hiding.

    I am searching for a contact spray for flushing and killing German cockroaches.
    I cannot quite afford a cold fogger such as the B&G or Actisol units yet, so I need a way to inject product into cracks and crevices. I will be following up the treatments with residuals, dusts and baits, but need a quick initial knockdown.

    565 PLus Aerosol would be a great flushing agent and contact killer for German roaches. 565 PLus does come with a straw attachment for spraying into cracks, crevices and voids.

    Is 565 PLUS XLO safe around babies and children?
    Is it safe to use on the baseboards if you have a baby that is crawling, or there are children playing on the floors near the baseboards?
    A
    Yes, 565 PLUS XLO contains the active ingredient pyrethrin, a natural botanical insecticide made from chrysanthemum flowers. All infants and children should be out of the area during the application and they can return as soon as the treated area is dry. We also recommend venting the treated area for about 30 minutes prior to sensitive individuals returning.

    Is 565 Plus XLO aerosol safe to use around pregnant women?
    A

    565 Plus XLO aerosol is meant to be applied along baseboards and in crack and crevices, places that the pregnant mother would not contact.  This product does have a slight odor, but other than that it is very safe to use in the home with children and pets or mothers-to-be. Once 565 Plus XLO is dry, it will quickly degrade and will not linger in the environment.

    Does 565 Plus XLO work on bed bugs and how would I apply it?

    Yes, 565 Plus XLO can work to treat for bed bugs. We suggest to take the bed apart and treat cracks, joints and the interior of the framework. Treat mattresses and boxsprings; especially tufts, folds, and edges. Also treat picture frames, moldings and all cracks and crevices in the room. Do not use in patient rooms in hospitals and nursing homes for treatment of bed bugs. It is NOT recommended for the sole protection from bed bugs. We advise to look at our How to Treat For Bed Bugs Guide to give more information on what items to use and where to apply to provide a proper bed bug treatment.

    565 Plus XLO can leave behind an oily residue. CB-40 Aerosol on the other hand has the same active ingredient but it is a water-based aerosol.

    Does 565 Plus XLO ruin fabrics e.g. sofas, carpets, etc?

    We have never had any complaints about 565 Plus XLO Aerosol ruining any fabrics.  That being said, we always recommend with any kind of pesticide or cleaning product that you want to use on a sofa, chair, etc, that you first apply it in the back or in a inconspicuous area first to make sure it is safe before you apply it in more noticeable areas.

    My sister has had her house sprayed several times. The exterminator she hired used 565 Plus XLO spray, but she still has bites. What is going on?

    565 Plus XLO will not cause any pest problems. You did not indicate what type of pest the pest control operator is spraying for, but we will tell you that 565 Plus XLO is a pyrethrin based insecticide. It does not leave any active residual,so any pest that is to be eliminated with this spray must be directly contacted to be killed.

    Will 565 Plus XLO kill cloth moths? Will it harm animal mounts, deer, elk, etc?

    565 Plus XLO will kill cloth moths when you spray them directly with the product. 565 Plus XLO is not labeled to spray animal mounts so we cannot say for sure that it will not cause any damage. We can tell you that many mount owners do use 565 Plus XLO or Cy-Kick aerosol to get rid of cloth moths and carrion beetles. You should choose 565 Plus XLO for a fast knockdown and Cy-Kick Aerosol if you need a long lasting residual. Be sure to hold the can at least 12 inches away from the mount and spray in a sweeping motion. You should also test the product you choose in a small inconspicuous area before spraying the entire mount.

    does this can fit in the konk dispenser?
    I see konk is out of stock. what do you have to replace konk?

    Konk has been discontinued by the manufacturer.  It has been replaced with 565 Plus XLO and/or CB-80 Aerosol. The 565 MAY fit into the Konk dispenser due to it being similiar in size. The CB-80 is a 20 oz. can so it may not fit.

    I recently found a lot of black carpet beetles around my kids play area and wanted to know if it's safe to apply this product in the area near their toys and sofas. Does this product leave a residual on the carpet that will harm my children and puppy?

    Does 565 Plus XLO contain any PYRETHROIDS such as , PERMETHRIN, BIFENTHRIN, & CYPERMETHRIN?
    I want a reasonably priced indoor insecticide that doesn't contain any Pyrethroids. Preferably a spray, but maybe also a fogger.

    565 Plus contains pyrethrins but does not contain any pyrethroids. 565 Plus can be used as a space spray and a crack and crevice spray. You can see exactly what 565 Plus contains and how it can be used by reading the product label.     565 PLUS XLO should not be applied on ornamentals or shrubs per the product label instructions. It can be applied as a contact kill up against the structure and other listed interior areas.
