PTM Insecticide is an effective one-use insecticide that is injected into the soil for the prevention and control of ants, aphids, and tip moths. It targets leaf cutter ants, Nantucket pine tip moths, pine bark aphids, and red imported fire ants. It is best injected into soil, a rootball, or a container-grown pine seedling. Twenty-one fluid ounces of this product can cover an acre for up to one year. It can be tank-mixed with other chemicals. Ideal for outdoor use. It is best used on pine seedlings and Christmas tree seedlings.

This pesticide is toxic to birds, fish, and aquatic invertebrates. DO NOT apply directly to water, or to areas where surface water is present, or to intertidal areas below the mean high water mark. Runoff may be hazardous to estuarine and aquatic organisms in water adjacent to treated areas. Care must be taken to avoid runoff. DO NOT contaminate water by cleaning equipment or disposal of waste. DO NOT contaminate water when disposing of equipment washwater or rinsate.
• Make one application per year. DO NOT apply moret han 21 fluid ounces of PTM Insecticide per acre per year.
• DO NOT apply this product through any kind of irrigation system.
• DO NOT apply within 20 yards (in New York State, DO NOT apply within 100 feet or 33 yards) of lakes,reservoirs, rivers, permanent streams, marshes, natural ponds, estuaries, commercial aquaculture facilities, or other bodies of water that convey water to these areas. Protection of aquatic areas may be enhanced by maintaining all or a portion of this buffer in vegetative cover.
• DO NOT apply to seedlings/trees raised for pine nuts.
• Apply only as a soil injection or injection into containerized seedling root ball. DO NOT apply to the soil surface.
