    Q
Can Q4 Plus Turf Herbicide control green or yellow foxtail? What amount do I need to mix with 2 gallons water?
    A

Q4 Plus Turf Herbicide is labeled for green, yellow, and giant foxtail. The mixing ratio of Q4 really depends on what and where you are treating. The product label suggests using 1.8-2.6 fl oz on warm season turf (cool season-2.6 - 3 oz. per 1,000 sq. ft.) per one gallon to treat 1000 sq.ft. A follow up application may be required for this weed species.

    Q
Is the spot treatment and broadcast treatment application rate the same for Q4 Plus Herbicide?
    A

The Q4 Plus Herbicide Product Label states: Broadcast Treatments for Cool Season Turfgrass (kentucky bluegrass, perennial ryegrass, fescues, annual bluegrass, rough bluegrass, annual ryegrass)- Use rate per Application is 7 to 8 pints per acre or 2.6 to 3.0 fl oz/1000 sq/ft. When broadcasting your water volume may change so while the concentration of product per area is the same as the spot treatment, if your turf is very dense you may need 2-4 gallons of water over 1000 sq/ft, vs the only 1 gallon needed for spot treatments.

    Q
Will Q4 Plus Turf Herbicide kill tall fescue grass mixed in my yard?
I have a Kentucky Bluegrass lawn and have tall fescue starting to invade. Will this kill the tall fescue and leave my bluegrass alone?
    A

Q4 Plus Turf Herbicide is labeled to be safely used on tall fescue and will not control it.  There is not a selective product that would remove one cool season turf such as Tall Fescue from another like Kentucky Bluegrass.  We suggest spot treating with a non-selective like GlyPhoSel Pro and then reseeding after 2 weeks.
