This is a lot cheaper than Roundup, and contains the same active ingredient in the same concentration. It kills about the same, although I found it a llittle harder to "wet" the leaves with Ranger than with Roundup. But even if it takes abit more product to get the job done, the price advantage makes it a worthwhile proposition. Remember to save the measuring cup that came with the Roundup, as the Ranger has none.

The stuff is OK, I used to use, erase HD. And you can say whatever you want about their chemical make up, eraser works better. I've heard a lot of good reviews about Ranger pro so decided to give it a shot. I mix it 3 ounces to every 1 gallon of water in a backpack sprayer. I'll come back two weeks later to the same yard. It's wilting, but it's not dead. And I've tried hosing plants with the stuff. Make sure they're wet from top to bottom. I'm not impressed.

Tough to figure small quantities

I had a hard time figuring out how to mix a gallon. The directions attached to the container are geared toward farmers and others mixing hundreds od gallons at a time. So I guessed 1.5oz to a gallon. I sprayed some weeds and grass. Its been a week and they are starting to turn a little yellow. It needs better instructions.
