Product Overview

The Recognition + Fusillade II Herbicide Kit is a comprehensive solution for homeowners and lawn care pros looking to control undesired bermudagrass and goosegrass in St. Augustine and zoysiagrass.

When used together, Recognition & Fusilade II create a flexible treatment option that is tough enough to tackle troublesome bermudagrass & goosegrass, but gentle enough not to cause injury to your desired St. Augustine and zoysiagrass.

  • Recognition Herbicide is a versatile sulfonylurea-based herbicide that provides selective control of many tough-to-kill weeds, including dollarweed, Virginia buttonweed, clover, and various sedges & kyllingas. Recognition contains a proprietary turf safener, metcamifen, allowing safe broadcast applications.  When combined with Fusilade II, it can safely remove bermudagrass & goosegrass from St. Augustine & zoysiagrass.
  • Fusillade II Herbicide adds targeted control of grassy weeds like crabgrass, goosegrass, foxtail, and quackgrass. It’s a systemic, post-emergent herbicide that works by moving through the plant to shut down growth at the source. When tank-mixed with Recognition, it expands the spectrum of control to cover most common and invasive turfgrass weeds in one easy application.

To ensure the most effective treatment of problem weeds and preserve your desired turfgrasses, this herbicide kit also includes Hi-Yield Non-Ionic Surfactant and Turf Mark Blue.  A surfactant is a recommended addition to certain herbicides, designed to enhance the penetration of the herbicide into the targeted weeds, allowing for a quicker and more complete control.  Turf Mark Blue is a temporary blue marking dye designed to assist in preventing overlapping sprays that can damage desired turf, as well as ensure you haven’t left any gaps in spray coverage.

Apply with a backpack or handheld sprayer following label directions for optimal results.

Whether you’re trying to clean up a mixed lawn, eliminate encroaching bermudagrass, or maintain pristine turf, this all-in-one kit provides professional-grade performance for DIY use.

Application Instructions:

Spot Spray Application:

Apply to target areas with enough spray to sufficiently wet weeds and clearly see Turf Mark Blue marking dye.  Use caution not to soak or drench areas.  Overapplication may harm desired turf.

Broadcast Application:

Apply in a single, uniform pass across desired treatment area, walking at a pace that allows spray to sufficiently wet weeds and create a visible swath of Turf Mark Blue marking dye.  Use caution not to soak or drench areas.  Avoid overlapping sprays. Overlapping sprays and/or overapplication may harm desired turf.

Repeat applications may be made as needed on a 4-6 week interval.
