If you sprayed on August 1st, we recommend giving it another weed or two before cutting it down but we would still recommend to spray the stump after cutting it just to be safe.
When tank mixing Remedy Ultra Herbicide with Roundup you will want to do the following: 1. Add one-half of the needed water to the mixing tank and start agitation, 2. Add the recommended # of fl oz of Roundup & the recommended # of fl oz of Remedy Ultra Herbicide per the product labels for your application to make 2 gallons of mixed solution, 3. Fill the sprayer with the remaining amount of water.

Due to the fast growth rate and unique nature of bald cypress, we recommend you contact an experienced arborist for assistance with this tree. Removal will usually require grinding the roots, which can be quite disturbing to the surrounding area if residential. Keep in mind these trees may be protected in your area depending on where they are found and the water level in that area. We recommend waiting at least 12 months before planting anything new where you have applied Remedy Ultra Herbicide. If you are doing a cut stump treatment, then we recommend that you do not plant anything new within the area of the former dripline of the tree since that’s how far out the existing roots can go. You want to be careful that there is no drift or soil movement into areas where you plant to put any new plants for at least 12 months.
