Apply with a backpack or knapsack sprayer using low pressure and a solid cone or flat fan nozzle. Spray the basal parts of brush and tree trunks to a height of 12 to 15 inches from the ground in a manner which thoroughly wets the lower stem, including the root collar area, but not to the point of runoff."
This dilution rate would break down to 25.6 to 51.2 ounces of concentrate in enough oil to make 1 gallon of finished solution.
The best time to apply Remedy Ultra Herbicide is when the plants you are treating for are actively growing and temps are above 55 degrees. It would also be best to apply Remedy Ultra Herbicide at least 24 hours before you're expecting any more rain.
Remedy Ultra Herbicide states on the product label that it may be mixed with Tordon 22K for best results in treating pricklypear cactus. It does not mention that is can be used for any other type. We recommend you contact your local county extension office for recommendations on treating cactus in your area.
When using Remedy Ultra Herbicide to control blackberry, you will use 2 to 4 pints of Remedy Ultra with 2 to 3 quarts of low volatile 2,4-D in sufficient water per Acre (1.5 – 2.2 oz per 1,000 sq ft). For blackberry, apply during or after bloom for best results.

When you use diesel you also have to add an additional product: Prepare oil-water emulsions using diesel fuel, fuel oil, or kerosene plus and emulsifier such as Sponto 712 or Triton X- 100. Use a jar test to check spray mix compatibility before preparing oil-water emulsion sprays in the mixing tank.

Remedy Ultra Herbicide should not be applied in St. Augustinegrass as the product is not labeled to be applied in any type of residential turf grass. In general, the active ingredient in Remedy Ultra, Triclopyr, is not safe for use on St. Augustine.
Remedy Ultra Herbicide treated areas are safe for chickens/animals to return to once dry, typically after 4-6 hours.

If the stump has been exposed to the rain, then for best results you need to make a fresh cut and then make your application. It would be best if you make the application at least 24 hours before you're expecting any more rain.
Per the product label for Remedy, when treating for mesquite only, you would need to mix with Reclaim (though we do not carry this product) for best results. The rate to apply is 1/2 to 1 pint Remedy Ultra per acre in combination with 2/3 to 1 1/3 pint per acre of Reclaim. Apply with ground equiment in 10 gallons or more total volume per acre. Use a maximum of 1 gallon of oil per acre for ground application.
