No, Repels-All Liquid Concentrate will not work for snail control. This product was formulated to repel mammals. Please view our Snail & Slug Control Products HERE for snail treatment options.
The Repels-All Liquid Concentrate is meant to have a strong pungent odor to help keep animals away, so its typically not recommended to use it close to where you will spend a lot of time if the smell wouldn't be something that could be tolerated. While the odor will fade to human noses over time, you may find it takes a week or so for it to get to that level to only still impact the animals.
Repels All Liquid Concentrate is labeled to repel a variety of animals including Armadillos, Deer, Rabbits, Squirrels, cats and dogs, while it will not harm them, your pets may be sensitive to the smell of the product as it's supposed to irritate an animals nasal passage. Please review the label for application instructions
According to the Repels-All Liquid Concentrate Product Label, you would use 16 oz of product per gallon of water and on average 1 gallon of mixed solution will cover about 1000 sq/ft or so.
To do 12k sq/ft of turf one time, you would need 1.5 gallons of Repels All Concentrate.
Unfortunately, repellents get about 50/50 success rate reviews and majority of customers state they hardly ever actually work no matter the brand. Armadillos digging in your lawn realistically need to be trapped and relocated if you want to be successful in getting them off of your property. If you use a repellent, keep in mind this does not work as quickly as a child touching a hot stove, but rather this is a behavior modifier that works over time as the armadillos repeatedly re-enter the treated areas to be irritated by the repellent.
If you decide to trap the armadillos, our Tomahawk Model 608 and Tomahawk Model 608SS are both great trap choices.
Repels-All Liquid Concentrate is only for use in outdoor areas, where it would be exposed to rain/sunlight and degrade over time. We are not aware of anything to remove the odor/product when applied off label to indoor areas. You may contact the manufacturers safety line 833-972-1101 or Chemtrec 800-424-9300 for advice.
Repels-All Liquid Concentrate is not labeled for applications to vehicles in any way, and would not be advised. We recommend placing snap traps on the tires and underneath your vehicle, to target them as they are coming and going from your engine area. You can also place rat bait stations with bait blox around the outside of your home for added population control.
Repels-All Liquid Concentrate is best applied to a dry lawn when rain is not expected within 6 hours after application. If it rained within 6 hours of your application, it could cause the repellent to run off and be ineffective, so a reapplication may be necessary.
Repels-All Liquid Concentrate should not be applied to any fabric or upholstery indoors or outoors. This product is only labeled to be used in lawns, ornamentals, bushes and flowers.
