It can take several months to get rid of a large infestation. Infestations do not get large quickly and unfortunately they do not go away quickly either. Below you will find our best recommendations for eliminating roaches:
The Roach Control Kit Rotation A is perfect for roach control problems in homes and apartments. This professional kit includes 4 bottles of Temprid FX (which makes 4 gallons of finished solution) for spraying the outside perimeter of the home and inside underneath appliances, behind cabinets, under toilets and sinks, etc. You'll also get 2 x 30 gram tubes of Maxforce FC Magnum , which is one of the best roach baits on the market. Maxforce FC Magnum can be applied up high in the kitchen in the corner of cabinets and in cracks and crevices in kitchens and bathrooms. The bait contains a slow-acting poison that attracts and kills feeding roaches, who also spread the bait to other roaches by contact or by sharing food. Finally, 20 Gentrol Point Source stations provide an IGR (Insect Growth Regulator) that will stop roaches from laying eggs, helping to halt the infestation. The combination of an IGR with roach bait is a highly effective roach control strategy that is widely used by pest control professionals.

Roach Control Kit Rotation A would be great to use. You can use the bait indoors and apply the Temprid outdoors in those problem areas. It is safe for children and pets after it has dried. You can use any of our Roach Control Kits for a roach infestation that is indoors. However, if you are only seeing larger roaches, these roaches require a lot of moisture to thrive, so they are often living outdoors and just getting inside to find shelter or food. We recommend that you first inspect the area for excess moisture, especially around appliances, plumbing, etc. If you have any landscaping outdoors, then a granule bait such as Niban Granular Bait is excellent to use around the foundation of the home, around landscaping, under decks or porches, etc. A residual spray for prevention indoors is a great tool, too. Gentrol Complete is a ready-to-use spray that has residual insecticide and an insect growth regulator (IGR) in one ready-to-use product. We have more tips in our Roach Prevention Guide here.

It is rare you would ever have roaches truly coming from your drain pipes. Most of the time when people see roaches coming out of their drain, it is only ones that have crawled down into it from your sink first and are then re-emerging. Unless you have a cracked pipe either in your home or somewhere in the sewage line for the city that leads into yourhome, the source is elsewhere. There is not an insecticide that can be applied to drains, pipes or sewers. The best way to treat for roaches is to attack it full on before it becomes a huge infestation as they can reproduce quickly. We suggest using one of our roach control kits as the kits have everything you need to completly eliminate all of the roaches that are there. You can also review our guide on How To Get Rid of German Roaches for tons of helpful information for controlling this species effectively.

The amount of applications that the Roach Control Kit A will provide will vary depending on the level of insect activity and the size area that you will be treating. Typically these kits last 2-6 weeks, depending on the level of infestation. Please contact us at 866-581-7378 for additional information.
The products within the Roach Control Kit A are all safe for pets when used according to the label. For standard domestic animals like dogs and cats, they typically only need to be out of the home during the application and until the spray in the kit has dried. For exotic animals like birds, reptiles, rodents, etc. they often are more sensitive to sprays. Where we would recommend keeping dogs out until dry which might be 2 hours, we suggest keeping sensitive pets out of the home for at least 4-6 hours just to be on the safe side before bringing them back in to their normal habitat and routine. The glueboards in the kit just need to be placed in areas out of their reach so as not to get their feet stuck on the glue. The bait gel would fall in that same category as well, placing the bait dots only in areas of corners of cabinets and unreachable areas of the pets. The Gentrol point source is a vapor that floats through the air but only can effect insects as it targets a hormone only they possess and humans and pets do not.
