    Will this work on water bugs and palmetto bugs?
    I have huge bugs that my friend says is a palmetto bug and my husband calls them water bugs or wood roaches. Will this kill these kinds of bugs too?
    A

    The products in the Roach Control Kit Rotation A are more geared towards treating the smaller roach species indoors.
    Getting rid of palmetto bugs requires patience, persistence, and a combination of both chemical and non-chemical methods. Palmetto Bugs prefer to live outdoors, but will easily set up residence indoors if they can find their way inside. Exclusion is about keeping Palmetto Bugs out, or at least making it harder for them to get in.

    • Caulk and repair holes around doors, windows, water pipes, and baseboards.
    • Place mesh screens over windows, floor drains, and vents. These places serve as roach hideaways.
    • Windows and doors should fit tightly and squarely within their frames to prevent both harborage and entry from the outside

    Demon WP provides excellent control when mixed in a 1-gallon or 2-gallon sprayer and applied at a low-pressure setting. In addition, you can mix in Gentrol IGR which prevents pest larvae from progressing to the pupal stage of development, so the larvae die before they become breeding adults and future infestations. Spray indoors along baseboards, especially in corners; window and door frames, on the underside of furniture, behind bookshelves, and in other problem areas as listed on the product label. With Palmetto bugs, the outer perimeter of the home or structure should also be treated. Residual sprays like these need to be reapplied every month to every 3 months, depending on the level of infestation.

    For added protection, spread DeltaGard G Granules outdoors in pine straw, mulched areas, landscapes surrounding the infested structure. Deltamethrin in a new water-dispersible carrier to provide quick knockdown and lasting control of insect pests in lawns and landscaped areas.

    Can I use the Temprid spray indoors?

    Yes, Temprid FX can be used to spray on baseboards, cracks, crevises, door frames, and window sills as long as you are following the product label instructions.

    How do I get rid of cockroaches in a drain?

    It is rare you would ever have roaches truly coming from your drain pipes. Most of the time when people see roaches coming out of their drain, it is only ones that have crawled down into it from your sink first and are then re-emerging. Unless  you  have  a  cracked  pipe  either in your home or somewhere in the sewage line for the city that leads into yourhome, the source is elsewhere. There is not an insecticide that can be applied to drains, pipes or sewers. The best way to treat for roaches is to attack it full on before it becomes a huge infestation as they can reproduce quickly. We suggest using one of our roach control kits as the kits have everything you need to completly eliminate all of the roaches that are there.  You can also review our guide on How To Get Rid of German Roaches for tons of helpful information for controlling this species effectively.

    Can you use the Point Source stations in a room where an air purifier is also in use?
    - or would the purifier degrade the effectiveness?

    Traditional air purifiers would not impact the vapors emitted by Gentrol Point Source, as those filter types collect dust, bugs and debris from the air.

    Is there a difference in effectiveness between using Gentrol stations vs the concentrate ...
    mixed with an insecticide like Temprid or Demon Max?

    The Gentrol Point Source and the Gentrol IGR concentrate are going to provide the same results  for roach control. The Gentrol Point Source are great for situations when spraying is not allowed and this formulation is also very convenient as there is no mixing or spraying required.

    Since the Temprid solution needs to be used within 24 hrs of mixing, can you mix a smaller quantity ...
    ...from the single use container? And if so, are instructions provided? Or, is it better to buy something like the liquid Demon max pint and use the given reservoir?

     It would be better to purchase the Temprid FX in the 240 ML bottle that comes with a measuring reservoir in the bottle.

    Can glycerin be added or mixed with FC Magnum Roach Bait in the Roach Control Kit Rotation A to keep the bait from drying out?

    Although the bait gel, Maxforce FC Magnum, included in the Roach Control Kit Rotation A may dry out, we do not recommend adding anything that could compromise the mode of action and efficacy of the product. It is possible for the bait to dry out but it will continue to work. We do recommend applying fresh bait every two to three weeks because, much like our food, it may become unpalatable due to the inert ingredients.     I have a cockraoch hot spot around the dishwasher that's difficult to get at. How can I I treat around it?
    There are several cockroaches living around the dishwasher between the counter and the appliance. I don't see a way to successfully get Temprid or bait in the dishwasher cabinet cavity. What do you advise?

    When using Roach Control Kit Rotation A you would apply Temprid to the baseboards, window seals, and door frames as a cracks and crevices treatment to provide residual control around the perimeter of each room. You would apply the bait on the hinges of cabinets and above countertops. If the roaches are in the kitchen and there is no other food source they will find there way to the bait.     What can we do for German roaches?
    we have been using Alpine and Gentrol. Is there something more effective or that can be used in combination?
    A

    One of our roach control kits would be recommended for roach control. Starting with Roach Control Kit Rotation A. These professional kits includes non-staining, low odor concentrated insecticide for spraying the outside perimeter of the home and inside underneath appliances, behind cabinets, under toilets and sinks, etc. You'll also get Roach Bait Gel to help get rid of those roaches that like to hide. Baits can be applied up high in the kitchen in the corner of cabinets and in cracks and crevices in kitchens and bathrooms. The bait contains a slow-acting poison that attracts and kills feeding roaches, who also spread the bait to other roaches by contact or by sharing food. Finally, an Insect Growth Regulator is offered which will stop roaches from laying eggs, helping to halt the infestation. The combination of an IGR with roach bait is a highly effective roach control strategy that is widely used by pest control professionals. The insecticide must be applied with a 1 gallon pump sprayer.
