    Q
Are the products in Roach Control Kit Roatation A safe for all my fur babies?
I have a variety of pets ranging from rats to large birds and dogs.
    A

The products within the Roach Control Kit A are all safe for pets when used according to the label. For standard domestic animals like dogs and cats, they typically only need to be out of the home during the application and until the spray in the kit has dried. For exotic animals like birds, reptiles, rodents, etc. they often are more sensitive to sprays. Where we would recommend keeping dogs out until dry which might be 2 hours, we suggest keeping sensitive pets out of the home for at least 4-6 hours just to be on the safe side before bringing them back in to their normal habitat and routine. The glueboards in the kit just need to be placed in areas out of their reach so as not to get their feet stuck on the glue. The bait gel would fall in that same category as well, placing the bait dots only in areas of corners of cabinets and unreachable areas of the pets. The Gentrol point source is a vapor that floats through the air but only can effect insects as it targets a hormone only they possess and humans and pets do not.

    Q
Does the Roach Control Kit Rotation A come with a gun for the bait?
    A

The Roach Control Kit Rotation A does not come with a bait gun. It does however come with one plastic plunger, which can be used to apply the  Maxforce FC Magnum gel.  The Masterline Bait Gun is a helpful tool if you will be applying roach bait gel often.

    Q
How do I get rid of roaches?
And we tried everything to sprays bait and all what can i do plz help me
    A

It can take several months to get rid of a large infestation. Infestations do not get large quickly and unfortunately they do not go away quickly either.  Below you will find our best recommendations for eliminating roaches:

The Roach Control Kit Rotation A is perfect for roach control problems in homes and apartments. This professional kit includes 4 bottles of Temprid FX  (which makes 4 gallons of finished solution) for spraying the outside perimeter of the home and inside underneath appliances, behind cabinets, under toilets and sinks, etc. You'll also get 2 x 30 gram tubes of Maxforce FC Magnum , which is one of the best roach baits on the market. Maxforce FC Magnum can be applied up high in the kitchen in the corner of cabinets and in cracks and crevices in kitchens and bathrooms. The bait contains a slow-acting poison that attracts and kills feeding roaches, who also spread the bait to other roaches by contact or by sharing food. Finally, 20 Gentrol Point Source stations provide an IGR (Insect Growth Regulator) that will stop roaches from laying eggs, helping to halt the infestation. The combination of an IGR with roach bait is a highly effective roach control strategy that is widely used by pest control professionals.

    Q
What can I use to spray indoors? We have ferrets that get out on the floor.
They only weigh around a pound. We have roaches. I plan on getting a starter kit but I need something that can be used around our pets also.
    A

Roach Control Kit Rotation A would be great to use. You can use the bait indoors and apply the Temprid outdoors in those problem areas. It is safe for children and pets after it has dried.  Best to keep them out of the areas sprayed for 30 minutes to 1 hour.  Please also view the informational guide here for how to apply each product.

    A

Roach Control Kit Rotation A is a great option for roach control, which would include American Roaches. The roach bait in this kit is Maxforce FC Magnum and it is labeled for several species of roaches including German, American, Oriental and Smokey Brown roaches. This kit is ideal for beginning or cleanout treatments of cockroach infestations in apartments. You can also apply an insecticide dust like CimeXa Insecticide Dust inside the wall voids, light switch plates and electrical outlets if you are concerned about your neighbors.

    Q
Do the products in Roach Control Kit Rotation A target palmetto bugs?
I have the large Palmetto roaches outside that have migrated to the attic, and so to the indoors periodically. Also, I need your best insecticide or control for my landscape?
    A

The products in the Roach Control Kit Rotation A are more geared towards treating the smaller roach species indoors.

Getting rid of palmetto bugs requires patience, persistence, and a combination of both chemical and non-chemical methods. Palmetto Bugs prefer to live outdoors, but will easily set up residence indoors if they can find their way inside. Exclusion is about keeping Palmetto Bugs out, or at least making it harder for them to get in.

    • Caulk and repair holes around doors, windows, water pipes and baseboards.
    • Place mesh screens over windows, floor drains, and vents. These places serve as roach hideaways.
    • Windows and doors should fit tightly and squarely within their frames to prevent both harborage and entry from the outside

Demon WP provides excellent control when mixed in a 1 gallon or 2 gallon sprayer and applied at a low-pressure setting. In addition, you can mix in Gentrol IGR which prevents pest larvae from progressing to the pupal stage of development, so the larvae die before they become breeding adults and future infestations. Spray indoors along baseboards, especially in corners; window and door frames, on the underside of furniture, behind bookshelves, and in other problem areas as listed on the product label. With Palmetto bugs, the outher perimeter of the home or structure should also be treated. Residual sprays like these need to be reapplied every month to every 3 months, depending on the level of infestation.

For added protection, spread DeltaGard G Granules outdoors in pine straw, mulched areas, landscapes surrounding the infested structure. Deltamethrin in a new water-dispersible carrier to provide quick knockdown and lasting control of insect pests in lawns and landscaped areas.

    Q
When to rotate roach control kit?
When using the roach control kits how often should they be rotated? Do I rotate the hole kit or just the roach bait gel?
    A

After using Roach Control Kit Rotation A it would be best to then go to Kit B within 3-4 months then C if still needed. It's always a good idea to rotate roach bait with different actives/bait matrix as roaches can develop bait aversion when the same bait attractant is used over a long period of time.  Insecticides are rotated less often as it takes years of exposure to develop resistance.

  • Asked by Anne from Austin, Tx

    Q
Roaches only in kitchen on 3rd floor apartment
I live in a 10 story building, on the 3rd floor. I've lived here for years and never had problems. I cannot figure out where these roaches are coming from, and I don't know if my neighbors are having issues. Which kit/products do you recommend if I can't do anything externally?
    A

The Roach Control Kit Rotation A would be a fantastic choice to go with as it contains Maxforce FC Magnum which is one of the strongest roach baits on the market. This, in combination with the other products in the kit, will likely yield the fastest result on the population in your unit and some in surrounding ones. If your unit is not the source, this will be a bit of an uphill battle for you as that means the source is in surrounding units and out of your control. With time, repeat treatments, and patience you can eliminate a good chunk of the issue that is currently within your unit.

    Q
Are these kits appropriate for adjoining spaces or outbuildings?
I've been reading through the various guides and products and they seem largely focused on controlling roaches inside the home. I've been getting a huge rush of roaches all around the perimeter - garage, outbuilding, and an enclosed but unconditioned "sun room". Will these products hold up under that level of heat, humidity, and in some cases direct sunlight, or are they really meant for fully-indoor spaces? I've already had an exterminator spray the perimeter (I believe they used Talstar and Tempo SC Ultra), and the dozens upon dozens of roaches I continue to see are almost always dead or nearly-dead (flipped on their backs but still moving their legs), but they still keep coming in, probably because the residual kills them very slowly. Would this kit be any improvement over that, or is there another product or treatment method I should be looking at?
    A
Our kits including the Roach Control Kit Rotation A is only intended for use inside with the exception of the Temprid FX which can also be used outside as a perimeter spray around the foundation of your home as the professional as done with the others.  Though it is only recommended to apply one residual product in an area at a time so if the 2 were used that can be why you are seeing more.  Overapplying can make an area highly repellent making them avoid and agitate them making them more active, also these sprays only what contacts the area treated so they must contact it to die which yes does take time a few hours up to 24 or more.

If you have roaches coming from outside they could be nesting around the area and using a granule bait such as the Intice 10 Perimeter Bait would be good to use outside of the areas that have been sprayed so it is not contaminated by the sprays.  The only way to keep them out is to completely seal up all areas that allow them access inside areas, we also have a great general pest prevention guide that can help as well as ones for roaches depending on the type you are actually dealing with.

  • Asked by Melony from Decatur

    Q
What's the difference between Roach Control Kit Rotation A and Rotation B?
    A

The only difference in the Roach Control Kits A, B & C is the roach bait gel in each kit. When treating for active roach infestations, repeat applications of Temprid FX and  replacing bait placements are required every 10-14 days until you no longer are seeing roach activity.

If still baiting after 60 days, you will need to rotate to one of the other kits to prevent bait aversion or bait avoidance. Each roach bait gel uses a different active ingredient and a different bait attractant.

Roach Control Kit Rotation A contains Maxforce Magnum Roach Bait Gel and Roach Controk Kit B contains Alpine Roach Bait Gel.

    Q
Is one kit enough for whole house 1000sqft, looking at Roach Control Kit Rotation A
    A

The contents in Roach Control Kit Rotation A will provide you with enough products to do 2-3 treatments when treating at 10-14 day intervals with reapplying Temprid FX and replacing bait placements as required.   How much and how many treatments you need will depend on the level of infestation and how consistant and thorough you are being with treatments as well as proper sanitation and good housekeeping.
