    Is there a self contained version of the ScareCrow sprinkler?
    I have an area that needs protection that does not have a water source. Is there a stand alone version that includes a pressure tank you can fill with water and pump up and connect to ScareCrow?

    Can I use ScareCrow Sprinkler Motion Activated Animal Deterrent to deter a neighbor's dog from jumping on my fence?
    Our neighbors have three very large aggressive dogs trying to come through the fence to attack our dogs. Will best product be able to feel the vibration from the dog's body bumping our shared fence?

    Some of the reviews say the battery is 4 wires and unavailable. Your description says 1 9volt. Clarify?

    They invade my garden every night. Just wo during if they would be too small to detect.

    How do I avoid getting sprayed by the ScareCrow Sprinkler when I want to tend to my plants? Is there a remote switch?

    The ScareCrow Sprinkler Motion Activated Animal Deterrent can detect differenct sizes of animals.  This can work for people too. You can just adjust the sesitivty knob according to the size of animal you are trying to deter, or you can adjust the distance of spray as well. The easiest thing to do would be to just turn off the water when you go outside to tend to your plants or work on your yard.

    How should you set the sensitivity knob on the ScareCrow Sprinkler Motion Activated Animal Deterrent for raccoons?

    For medium sized animals within 10 ft. of the ScareCrow Sprinkler Motion Activated Animal Deterrent, you would set the knob at a 3 or 4. Please see the chart on page 6 of the product label for more suggested sensitivity settings.

    My ScareCrow Sprinkler Motion Activated Animal Deterrent just keeps spraying water when the water is turned on, the sensor is only activating some of the time. Have used for months with no issues and out of the blue started having problems, any advice?

    Unfortunately, we stopped carrying the ScareCrow Sprinkler Motion Activated Animal Deterrent several years ago and have learned the mechanics have changed since we last carried the product in our inventory. We recommend contacting Scott's directly for troubleshoot or technical support.

    I have just bought a new solar powered unit that worked for several weeks then it went off and would not stop
    To start with the only way I could stop it was to turn off the water supply and start it again. Then it went to being on all the time. what should I do?
    A
    There are two ways to switch off the ScareCrow motion-activated sprinkler animal deterrent : either set the sensitivity knob to zero, or shut off the water supply. Please note that if you shut the water off, the unit will still sense and activate, but will not spray water. For a heavy traffic area, turning the sensitivity knob to zero is the best option.  You may want to check your battery, it may need to be replaced.
