    Q
Will Scotts Turf Builder Weed and Feed 3 recognise Diamondia as a grass or a weed?
I have a patio of irregular flagstones with the ground cover called diamondia filling the cracks. It is very beautiful but it is being invaded with dandelions and some thistles. If I put STB on the diamondia will it see it as a grass (and therefore leave it alone) or as a weed (since it is not a regular grass).
    A

Diamondia is a form of groundcover and Scotts Turf Builder Weed and Feed 3 is only for use on turfgrass.  It could injure the groundcover and would be best to avoid any applications to the area and keep a few feet away when applying.  It would be best to handpull weeds from the path area where the Diamonida is growing.

    A

You can reapply Scotts Turf Builder Weed and Feed 3 as long as there is a minimum of 30 days between applications. Keep in mind that if you are treating taller or more mature weeds, then we recommend a liquid post-emergent herbicide rather than a granule.

    Q
How many times max per year/season can I treat with both Scotts Turf Builder Weed and Feed 3 and Scotts Turf Builder WinterGuard Fall Weed and Feed 3 if applied separately during late spring/summer & then again in fall to late fall?
I see that Weed and Feed 3 can only be applied twice per year on the Scott's website but the WinterGuard Fall Weed and Feed DOES NOT have the max 2 times per year on the Scott's website.
    A

With Scotts Turf Builder Weed and Feed 3 and Scotts Turf Builder WinterGuard Fall Weed and Feed 3 both having a max application of 2 times per year with 30 days between applications, we would suggest dividing the 4 applications up quarterly. You may contact Scotts directly at 888-270-3714 for more information.

    Q
How long after applying Scotts Turf Builder Weed and Feed 3 can apply a weed and feed to my lawn?
    A

If you are referring to the Scotts Turf Builder Triple Action, you could apply the Scotts Turf Builder Weed and Feed 3 within a month of applying the 3 in 1 product. The Triple Action contains fertilizer with the weed prevention and you would not want to overload the lawn and risk burning it. Most fertilizer applications will last at least a month in the lawn.

    Q
I applied Scott's Weed and Feed a day after it rained and the grass wasn't very wet. Should I reapply?
Particles didn't stick very well to the weeds. Will it still be effective when it's watered in?
