    Sedge nut grass killer!

    By Eddy on 09/27/2019

Killed all my green sedge grass. A gallon will kill 100's if you just lightly spray each weed. Pulling them up is a waste of time. Need to spray do the herbicide travels down to the nut.

    Crushed the sedge grass

    By Matt on 10/04/2019

I had quite a bit of sedge grass in various areas of my front and back yard that was spreading. After spraying the areas with SedgeHammer it truly threw the hammer down. I applied it a couple of days after mowing and several before the next mowing. The sedge stopped growing and after the next mowing it never popped up above the grass again. After 7-10 days it is all yellowing and brown as it dies. No sedge to be found! I appiled on Bermuda, Zoyzia and St Augistine grass.

I had to use two applications to kill the broas leaf weeds. Plus I slightly decrease the water amount to get a stronger mixture

    SedgeHammer nutsedge controll

    By Bill on 10/11/2019

This product is so easy to use and it really woks. If you have a nutsedge invasion in your landscape you need to use this product. After applying it the nutsedge turns yellow and eventually dries up yet your ornamentals and plantings are not harmed.

    Sedgehammer+ works well

    By Dennis on 10/11/2019

I used it this summer and it killed the sedge without hurting the daylilies. T typically takes two applications to get it all. I also used it mixed with glyphosphate for killing sedge mixed with wiregrass.

    SEDGEHAMMER WORKS!!!!!!!!!!!

    By Julius on 10/13/2019

I been fighting with my lawn service provider to take care of my SedgeHammer issue for the past few years, they didn't do it, so I got on the internet and found on DOMYOWN website this product /SEDGEHAMMER/ applied it per instruction and five six days later started to turn yellow. The area I didn't mowed for couple weeks, so I could watch the results. It WORKED, as the instruction said from BOTTOM UP. Now they are all gone, I'm happy it worked, also I'm GLAD I placed my order with DOMYOWN!!!!!!! Most of all my yard looks BEAUTIFUL again with out the SEDGE.

    Fall Application Success

    By Mark on 10/19/2019

SedgeHammer single use packet was easy, clean, and highly effective. Unlike other products where you still need surfactant and measurements, this was a pour, mix and spray application. I had visible results in about 7 days, and a couple of weeks later the weeds are graveyard dead.

    Slow Acting Herbicide

    By Larry on 10/25/2019

I don't know if temperature was a factor in why the herbicide took so long to kill sedge grass. The directions implied the sedge should be dead in a week. It was in the mid 70's when I applied the product. It has now been 4-weeks and the plants are beginning to look dead. I did use the recommended surfactant. I plan to spray again in a week. It does seem to kill the grass just not as quickly as I thought it would.

    Sledgehammer

    By Dalmer on 11/08/2019

I've used this product and had success. My last treatment from this DIY Pest Control purchase has not been out long enough to show a kill rate but, I have no reason to believe it won't work. Buying from DIY provided me with a significant savings over buying at my local garden center.

    SedgeHammer Herbicide Works!

    By Virginia on 11/29/2019

It takes repeated applications to the nutsedge, but it does kill it. What's so great is that it doesn't affect other plants growing with the nutsedge. So you can spray the nutsedge freely and plentifully without worrying that nearby plants that also catch the spray will be killed. They show no sign of damage.

    Helpful & Safe

    By Glenna on 01/10/2020

Due to a neighbor trying to be helpful, she sprayed RoundUp on our weeds late summer 2019. Much damage was done to surrounding vegetation. Then I learned later the dangers of RoundUp, and an online search engine revealed SedgeHammer Herbicide as a very effective and safe alternative. I'm looking forward to using SedgeHammer this spring/summer and am very thankful for its availability at such a low price and easy application.

    SedgeHammer

    By Steve on 04/03/2020

It has been almost 3 weeks and I have seen minimal improvement with sledgehammer. Some of the area has died and turned brown but some of the wedge is still green...I did not have a large area to kill so the the packet was plenty for the area. I have purchased a second packet at the same time so maybe I will try another packet in a couple weeks.

    Very Helpful

    By Bob on 05/15/2020

Very helpful and eager to answer any questions. If I got a product that I wasn't satisfied with it, was my fault because I misidentified the problem. But there would be someone around that could use it and it worked fine for them.

    sedgehammer

    By William on 06/01/2020

This product is what you need to get rid of nutsedge. May need second spray in worst areas but gets rid of it before takes over whole yard. I used surfactant and worked most patches with one application.

    It flat out works

    By Mark on 06/02/2020

Not sure about others' less enthusiastic reviews, but this stuff worked as designed for me. Started popping up yet again in our daylily beds, mixed to directions for 32oz spray bottle. A week in now, almost all is yellow or brown. Just sprayed a couple new stragglers. Lilies are just fine. Thanks for a great product.

    Fast delivery

    By Karen on 06/05/2020

The only product I've tried to kill nut grass! I've ordered several times in the last two years with always good results. Squirt them and in about a week they will start to yellow but don't pull them until they are totally dead and brown.
