Works as advertised. You need to be patient but within 10-14 days, the nutsedge starts to die off quickly!

I noticed that nutsedge or nutgrass as we call it here in Arizona was starting to come up in my front lawn. It has always been a pain to get rid of until now. Sedgehammer+ worked fantastic and only applied it once, one packet in a gallon of water. Had to cut the lawn two days after application and within seven days, there was no trace of the problem. I bought three packets just in case I needed more, now I have extra's on hand. Great product.

I couldn't be happier with this product. It completely eliminated a large patch of yellow nutsedge coming up in my lawn. It did not hurt the existing turf. I like that the Sedgehammer + already contains a surfactant. Easy to prepare and works great!

Each summer my lawn gets invaded by the nutsedge weed and each year it gets worse. Despite spending lots of hours trying to keep my lawn weed free, I had no remedy to control the nutsedge. I've had tried multiple products to control the weed to no avail. I even attempted hand weeding them. Nothing worked. One week after applying the Sedgehammer product, I've seen dramatic results. The weeds have turned yellow and started drooping. While there hasn't been enough time to definitively say that the Sedgehammer product will eliminate the weed, I'm very optimistic.

I was pleased with the effectiveness of this product. It does take several weeks to see a result. Used it before my new sod was put in, so I am Not sure how it will do once stragglers pop up through the lawn. Will definitely be keeping this product on hand

I recently installed RTF sod and started to see some nut-grass coming up in a specific area, about 10'x10' and more aggressively on edges of the turf. Over the course of 3 weeks applied this product 2 times and like magic, just the nut-grass was killed. A single application did “yellow” greatly the nut-grass, but I felt a 2nd application was a good idea, especially given the RTF appeared to be unaffected following the 1st application. I also applied this to a mature turf with similar effectiveness. I purchased 1gallon packets, but wished smaller packaging was available as I used a 1quart hand sprayer on these very small areas.

as advertised. Product took about 7 days fro. Application but worked fantastic. Only product i tried but will use again. Applied in July. Cool season grass

I recieved in 13 days. USPS issues. Have not been able to use because of continuous rain in the Florida Panhandle

2 applications and done. This is the best stuff ever for sedge. Watch your timing on this stuff. Follow the directions (patience is a virtue here).

Took a while for shipment (probably related to COVID), but the staff was great and price was right. It's been 8 days since initial application and a lot of the nutsedge is “yellowing”...but some of it appears to have shaken off the initial attack and is thriving. Will wait a few more days and then spray again. If the 2nd dose doesn't work, my rating will change accordingly

Easy to mix and apply, but has taken 10-14 days to see any noticeable effects. Will require a second application.

I sprayed on the section of the lawn with the most nutsedge/kylinga. Tips of weeds are looking a little burnt (Bahia grass is ok), but weeds are still there after 3 weeks. So verdict is out. If it does work, I will be ordering a larger batch and larger sprayer.

I actually saw some of the blades dying in just 2-3 days. All were dead within 5-7.

Sprayed it on...2 days the stem turned brown. This stuff works as advertised. Would recommend this to anyone. Price is right.

The product worked wonderfully and just as you said it would. It took several days to see it start to yellow, but by the following week there were no tall, celery- colored blades in the lawn.

Really took care of my nut sedge problem, took about 1.5 weeks to show results. wondered if it was going to work at all after about 5 days but the weeds started to yellow and were completely dead after 2 weeks. Just did another application to sections i missed. I will continue to keep this on hand to use as needed, lots of my neighbors have this issue so i know i will get it back from time to time. I use this in my grass and flower beds.

After applying as per the recommended process, I didn't see any change for first five days. honestly I started to lose patience to see the results. Then I realize that those nut sledge grass is yellowing and not growing as it used to earlier. few more days passed and then I found that its not growing at all and its actually turning fully yellow to dull brown. After 2 mowings I dont see it all. basically its a slow poison to nut sledge. Its a mix feeling now. Happy that my Lown is very clean and I have only nice and green bermuda grass there but felt sad for the suffering that nut sledge grass had to undergo for this 15 long days.

I have an established fescue lawn which started to become inundated with yellow nutsedge. The staff recommended the herbicide “SedgeHammer”. Approximately two(2) week's after applying the herbicide, the nutsedge has died off. Thank you DoMyOwn staff!

I hear of all kinds of products that are suppose to work getting rid of weeds, but this one actually does. I bought it for the SedgeHammer nothing else seemed to get rid of it so I was pulling it up by hand only to discover that much more came up in its place. I give it an A+

The directions say apply and wait two weeks. They're right on. (Note: 1 quart of Sedgehammer is an awful lot, especially for a suburban lawn. Sahre it with all your nieghbors.)

Sedge hammer does the job it takes a little time to see results but be patient and it will take control of your sedge. I have used this product for years and have always had good results it kills sedge and hasn't harmed my zoysia grass.

This is the first product I have found that actually works nut sedge. Easy to apply too. Highly recommend

I purchased this product because of some nutsedge issues I was having in my lawn but not too many just in two areas of my lawn. I took a chance with this product based on the reviews and I couldn't believe how great it worked. It took about two weeks for the sedge to die. You should not mow though just to give it time to work they are completely gone now and I'm a happy camper. I Now know what my go-to sedge killer is and where to find it and it's only here at Do My Own. They never disappoint

I have used Sedgehammer in the past and had very good results. I applied the application 10 days ago, and the "weeds" still look very strong. A slight yellowing is occurring on some, but most still look very healthy. Wondering if the product has changed.

I applied Sedgehammer to the nutsedge growing in my azalea bed almost two weeks ago. It appears to be killing the weeds without any damage to my azalea plants, but it took a while for there to be any signs of effect on the nutsedge. You just have to be patient to get the results you want, but if it kills the weeds without damaging the plants, it is worth the wait. Thank you, DoMyOwn, for the guidance and suggestion for solving my nutsedge problem.
