SedgeHammer clobbers Nutsedge
By Melissa on 07/28/2014
I have tried many sprays to kill the Nutsedge in our St. Auguststine. I have finally found something that immediately takes the bite out of this awful weed. The packets are perfect because the surfactant is already included. Would highly recommend !!

SedgeHammer Herbicide
By Tom on 09/20/2014
Considering that it take awhile for this product to fully work work I can only judge based on current progress. The biggest thing I've noticed is the plant has stooped growing. Normally after mowing the plant would grow up to two inches by the next day. It milliner out paces the turf growth. Also it has finally started turning yellow which I suspect is further evidence that it is working.

Seems to be working great
By Shareque on 05/13/2015
I sprayed my lawn about 2 weeks ago. Now when I walk by the area that was most affected, I admire the nut grass turning from green to yellow to brown rather than feeling hopeless that no matter how much I pulled them they kept coming back. The sporadic shoots throughout my yard have totally disappeared - as if they were never there. Sweet revenge.... VERY satisfied!

Received promptly. Packaged well. Worked great did not harm the lawn only the nut sedge.Easy to apply. Follow directions.Do not ally in temps over 90. Knocked out the sedge as promised. Applied late in season so I will need to apply again in the spring to get the nut.

Sedgehammer works
By Ruralsurgeon on 08/25/2015
Sedgehammer wiped out every stalk of Nutsedge in our yard with one application. I will use it again if necessary. I do not yet know what effect it will have on next year's crop of Nutsedge, but I expect to have less Nutsedge.

sedge hammer herbicide
By Dan on 09/25/2015
The product works very well. I paid a lawn service company to rid my lawn of nutsedge and it did not do a good job. The sedge hammer was easy to apply and took out all the nutsedge. I bought enough for next season because I applied it too late in the season and was told it might return if the nut was not destroyed. You have to catch it early just as it begins to sprout to kill the nut. Great product , follow directions and you will get good results.

Using the information that a came with my packet of Sedgehammer I was finally able to determine that my flower beds were infested with kallinga grass. Never heard of it and the local nurseries and landscapers didn't know either. I made one application using a quart size spray bottle. The grass was mixed in with vinca plants that are in full bloom. So some of the kallinga did not get sprayed--wanted to save the vinca. It took at least 7 days before I began to notice a light color change in some of the grass, not all. But by 10 days all of the grass leaves had turned yellow--even the ones I didn't spray! The instructions said if the product gets to the root network it will kill evserything. That's exactly what happened. So I've now ended a three year battle in just 10 days. Can't beat that. Thanks so much for Sledgehammer. Jerry in East Tennessee.

It works
By Cindy on 07/23/2016
I've been fighting nutsedge in my lawn for 6 years and have tried everything known to man to get rid of it, to no avail. Saw the Sedgehammer on the internet and figured I'd give it a try. It really works. It's easy to use. Just put into 1 gallon sprayer and drench the nutsedge. Within 7 or 8 days it will begin to turn yellow and stop growing. I purchased two applications and have used one of them. I'll use the 2nd one soon to finish up what I missed. Very happy with the product. This is the first thing I've used that actually works. Still don't know if it's a permanent solution, but time will tell.

Awesome Product
By Chip on 08/12/2016
I've been fighting the nutsedge in my flower beds for almost two years. Everything I tried either didn't work or killed the surrounding shrubs. But the nutsedge prevailed. After only one application of Sedgehammer+, I began noticing a yellowing of the nutsedge leaves after two weeks. By three weeks, the nutsedge was dead at the base and could easily be pulled out without fear of it generating new growth. This stuff really works!

Sedge Control
By Gene on 09/04/2016
I had been paying a lawn service for10 months to get rid of the sedge in my backyard. I kept getting excuses why it was still growing. I found DoMyOwnPestContol on line. I read about Sedgehammer and decided to go on my own. I sprayed the weed and waited 5 days. The sedge has yellowed to the ground with no harm to the Bermuda. From now on l'll be doing it myself. Thanks for your support.
