    If Sevin Dust 5% is applied to the carpets in a bedroom, can we still sleep in the bed?

    Sevin Dust 5% - 3 Pack is labeled for outdoor use only.  If the product has been applied indoors, we recommend contacting the manufacturer Garden Tech directly for product support by either calling them at 866-945-5033 or by visiting their website's contact page.

    Cimexa Dust is an insecticide dust that is labeled to be applied directly to carpets, rugs, etc.When dusting carpets or rugs, the dust should be worked into the carpet fibers using a stiff brush or broom to get into the fibers and off the surface of the carpet areas.

    Is Sevin Dust 5% safe for lettuce if a small amount was washed onto to it while washing the Sevin Dust off my squash?
    A
    Sevin Dust 5% is safe for lettuce and can be harvested after 2 weeks. Rinse after harvesting before consumption as recommended per the product label.

    If the container of Sevin Dust 5% got wet, can it be dried out and still used?

    Sevin Dust 5% would not be effective if the dust has gotten wet prior to the applicaiton.

    Do you water your plants before applying Devon liquid or after?
    A

    You should wait at least 48 hours after applying Sevin Dust before watering plants. And you do not need to water them prior to an application. If it rained/watered beforehand, the area may be moist like if dew was present but not overly waterlogged.

    Will heavy dew at night affect the application of Sevin Dust 5%? on plants?
    A

    Heavy dew or moisture in early mornings should not affect the efficacy of Sevin Dust 5%. It is recommended to make applications when calm weather is predicted and rainfall is not expected for atleast 24 hours to ensure that wind or rain does not wash the application off plant surfaces.

    Can I use Sevin Dust 5% on cannabis plants in the vegetative stage to treat for spider mites and other insects?

    Unfortunately we cannot give advice on Sevin Dust 5% - 3 Pack or any other product for use on cannabis unless it is listed on the product label. We recommend you check with your local department of agriculture to see if they have released of a list products that can now be used on cannabis. We do know that state of Washington has compiled a list for cannabis and other states are starting to do so as well.

    Sevin Dust 5% - 3 Pack is for outdoor use only.  You could consider Wilco Snail and Slug Gel as an alternative, which is labeled for use in planters, and is harmless to animals, children, and pets once applied.

    How much ready to use 5% dust do you need to cover 100 square yards

    100 square yards is equivalent to 900 sq. ft. and Sevin Lawn Insecticide Granules should be applied at a rate of 1 to 4 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. using a ground or hand spreader.

    When is the best time to put Sevin Dust on a hibiscus that has little spots on the leaf?
    The leaves on the hibiscus looks like it's got a bug.

    Sevin Dust should not be applied to hibiscus leaves. We recommend consulting with your local cooperative extension office Master Gardener to determine if you are dealing with insect or disease.

    How soon after planting new plants can I apply Sevin Dust 5%?
    A

    Sevin Dust can be applied on plant leaves in most cases after planting, but please be advised that the label states that new or tender foliage may be damaged in the presence of rain or high humidity in the first few days after application.

    Will Sevin Dust 5% keep scorpions away?

    No, Sevin Dust 5% - 3 Pack is not labled to treat scorpions. We would recommend using Cy-Kick CS. This is a residual product that can be used indoors and outdoors for scorpions. The mixing ratio is 1-2 fl. oz. per gallon of water.

    Sevin Dust 5% is not specifically labeled for them but we do offer the Sevin Concentrate that is labeled for tomato hornworms. You will need to use 1.5 fl oz per gallon of water.

    Will Sevin dust get rid of chipmunks? Do I put the dust in their burrowed holes?

    Sevin Dust 5% - 3 Pack should not be used for getting rid of chipmunks as it is listed for insects and not anything in the rodent family.  You can find chipmunk control products here.
