    A
    Spray upper and lower leaf surfaces and small trunks, stems and twigs to the point of runoff where pests appear. Repeat applications as necessary up to a total of four times per year for trees and six times per year for ornamental shrubs and flowers, but not more often than once every seven days.

According to the product label, you do not want to allow people or pets to enter the treated area until spray has completely dried. After a few hours and the product has dried, the pets can return to the treated area.

    How long does Sevin Ready to Spray Insect Killer need to sit before it rains?
    A

    Sevin Ready to Spray Insect Killer should be applied in calm weather when rain is not predicted for the next 24 hours. This will help to ensure that wind or rain does not blow or wash pesticide off the treatment area. If you experience heavy rain within 24 hours of application, you may need to reapply.

    Sevin Ready to Spray Insect Killer has a pre-harvest interval of 1 day on squash and cucumber.  Reapply if insects return, but not more than once every seven days and according to pre-harvest interval.

    What is the dilution rate of Sevin Ready to Spray Insect Killer to be mixed in a tank sprayer?

    Sevin Ready to Spray Insect Killer is a Ready to Use Spray and cannot be diluted in a tank sprayer. Sevin Concentrate can be mixed in a hand pump sprayer or hose end sprayer. The mix rate would be 4 oz per gallon of water.

    Will Garden Tech Sevin Ready to Spray Bug Killer destroy the open flowers and any new buds?
    My flowers are covered in aphids which means they are on the petals. Can I spray the whole plant to include open flowers and buds without losing them completely?
    A
    There are no restrictions on the product label that would prohibit you from spraying on the flowers themselves other than waiting at least 7 days between applications and not exceeding the maximum six applications per year for ornamental shrubs. If the plants are under extreme stress, then we would recommend spot treating a small area before broadcasting over many plants. You will also want to limit applications to open flowers so as not to contact pollinating bees.

    Sevin Ready to Spray Bug Killer is not labeled to control grubs in lawns. Sevin granules is labeled to control grubs in lawns and would be a better choice for you.

    How do water and Sevin mix?
    You hook up hose and then what? How do you know when you are out of Sevin?
    A

    When using Garden Tech Sevin Ready to Spray Bug Killer, you will first shake the bottle and then attach the garden house to the spray nozzle. You will then turn the water supply on. Push the safety tab and turn the control knob to the "water" position. You will point the nozzle at the targeted plants and turn the control knob to "on". The product automatically mixes with water. You will know that is it empty because the bottle will be empty. If you have any additional questions, please let us know.

    Garden Tech Sevin Ready to Spray Bug Killer is not labeled for slugs.  Niban Granular Bait would do a good job for eradicating slugs.

    Sevin Ready to Spray Insect Killer if applied per label should not kill your plants. Be sure that you are applying in the cooler times of the day. Photoxicity could be a factor in your treatments.

    After initial use, sprayer is not mixing the concentrate with water. Doesn't seem to be pulling the Sevin Ready to Spray Insect Killer from the bottle.
    This had occurred twice with two different products.

    How do you refill sevin ready to spray bottle with refill concentrate?
    A
    This bottle of Sevin is not designed to be refilled as it is a different formulation than the concentrate form that they also make. The dial on the top of this bottle is designed to put out the correct amount of product for the ready to spray formulation. However, we do carry hose end sprayers that you can use the concentrate form of sevin as well as most other concentrated products we carry in for application.

    The water is going through the hose and the lever is adjusted for dispersing the Sevin Ready to Spray Insect Killer. The bottle is empty when the product is gone.

    Is Sevin Ready to Spray Bug Killer the right choice to kill the flea outbreak in my yard?
    We just mowed the grass in anticipation of applying tomorrow.

    Sevin Ready to Spray Bug Killer is not really labelled to control fleas.  For a flea infestation outdoors, we recommend our Outdoor Flea and Tick Kit, which contains Temprid SC and Archer IGR.  Temprid SC is a versatile insecticide concentrate with two active ingredients, providing both a quick initial kill and long-term residual control of adult fleas and ticks. Archer IGR prohibits the development of fleas, effectively interrupting their breeding cycle.
