  • Asked by Lee from Orlando, Fl
    02/16/2022
    Q
Is Shockwave 1 Flushing Killing and Residual Aerosol considered a non-repellent and recommended for treating German Roaches?
Thinking of using this in addition to the Gentrol point source, advion and Max force stations already in place.
    A

No, Shockwave 1 Flushing Killing and Residual Aerosol is contact/residual insecticide aerosol. This product aids in flushing insects from their hiding spots through a contact kill while also leaving a short residual of 2 weeks.

Shockwave 1 Flushing Killing and Residual Aerosol would be a great choice for an insecticide when treating heavy roach populations and german roaches, in addition to an IGR and roach bait. Repeat applications of Shockwave and Roach Bait will need to be done every 14 days. Gentrol IGR Discs last 90 days. View the full product label for more information.

Please review our Roach Treatment Guide for more information and helpful tips.

  • Asked by Tandy from Lexington, Ky
    02/25/2022
    Q
Can Shockwave 1 Flushing Killing and Residual Aerosol be used along with other roach treatments?
I don't want to mix chemicals that would be toxic or hinder the results.
    A

Shockwave 1 Flushing Killing and Residual Aerosol can be used for flushing and crack and crevices for residual control and can be used in combination with other products depending on what is used. If using 2 residual insecticides, do not double spray over areas that have already been treated. Applications should be done in different areas to avoid cross contamination.

For active roaches indoors, a combination of products are required as spraying or baiting alone will not eliminate active roach infestations. We would suggest looking at our Roach Control Kits that come the residual insecticide, roach bait gel and insect growth regulator (IGR). Each of the Roach Kits provide enough product to treat for roughly 3-4 months. If after 90 days you are still treating, rotate to Roach Kit B or Roach Kit C to offer a different bait matrix.

We recommend starting treatments with Roach Kit A for the FC Magnum Roach Bait that offers a quick knockdown and superior transfer effect.

Take a moment to review our Roach Treatment Guide and Video on how to effectively apply each product in the kit.
