Should the Advance Termite Bait System be used or go ahead and do the liquid barrier treatment around the exterior foundation of my home? Do I only treat the outside perimeter or also under the house where termites are entering my home through HVAC duct?

Answer:

If termites have already reached the home, the Advance Termite Bait System Kit would not treat the termite colony. Bait Systems are used to detect termite activity before they reach the home. If termites are active at the home or structure, the most effective treatment is by doing a termite trench treatment around the exterior perimeter foundation of the home using Taurus SC. This will eradicate a Subterranean Termite colony within 90 days and provide a 10 year barrier against future termites. If there are piers or pilars under the home, you will do the same trench treatment around those as well.
