    Q
Will Snapshot 2.5 work on Virginia Buttonweed?
    A
Snapshot 2.5 TG Herbicide - 50 lbs. is not labeled to target Virginia Buttonweed. Most pre-emergent herbicides on the market are not designed to completely control Virginia Buttonweed. Results can be inconsistent. We still suggest applying a pre-emergent herbicide to stop other weeds from forming, but know that Virginia Buttonweed may still emerge. Applying a post-emergent herbicide on the new weeds will be the best way to fully control the weed. If you cannot find a pre-emergent labeled for Virginia Buttonweed, select a pre-emergent that treats for broadleaf weeds. You may still see Virginia Buttonweed grow, but most other weeds will not, making the post-emergent herbicide application easier.

    Q
Would this work on a gravel parking lot? 5 acres?
    A
The Snapshot 2.5 TG Herbicide would be safe or use on gravel areas, however if you are looking for long term control and prevention of growth in a parking lot setting, snaptshot wouldn't typically be the way most customers would go. Its used a lot more in landscape beds and small desertscape yards. If you are wanting to kill and prevent any plant growth in the gravel as much as possible for as long as possible, you'd want to consider a soil sterilizer such as TVC (Total Vegetation Control). This is going to last roughly a year if applied correctly and with enough water volume to penetrate through the gravel and to the soil below it. You will need to make sure if there are any trees, shrubs, etc near any of the places you intend to use the TVC that you stay at least 10 feet outside of the dripline of desirable vegetation or plants.

    Q
    Goat Head weeds
Hello, Will Snapshot 2.5 prevent Goat Head weeds Tribulus terrestris? If not what do you recommend? Thank you
    A

Snapshot 2.5 TG will prevent prostrate knotweed, which is sometimes called puncture, but not typical goathead/puncturevine (Tribulus terrestris). There aren’t any pre-emergents that we carry that could be used for goatheads. It just needs to be treated with post-emergents.

    Q
Can Snapshot 2.5 TG Herbicide be use to control weeds in ornamentals?
    A

While Snapshot 2.5 TG Herbicide - 50 lbs. is a great pre-emergent for ornamentals, you may consider Ferti-lome Over the Top II Grass Killer or Gordons Ornamec 170 Grass Herbicide as a post-emergent. Both products are safe for ornamentals.

    Q
Can Snapshot 2.5 TG Herbicide be used on gravel driveways to eliminate grass/weeds?
    A

While Snapshot 2.5 TG Herbicide - 50 lbs. would prevent listed weeds, it would not prevent grasses. Eraser Max Super Concentrate Herbicide would be a better choice as it would prevent both grasses & weeds for up to a year. You just need to make sure you use enough water so that the product goes past the gravel & makes contact with the soil
