    What do you suggest for mosquito control to be used in this equipment?
    Looking for something safe yet effective.

    I am interested in the Solo 451, however, do you have any organic chemicals that work with this machine?

    Essentria IC3 and EcoVia EC are two of our natural bug sprays and they are labeled to be used in mist blowers such as the Solo 451 Mist Blower.

    What is the warranty for the Solo 451 Mist Blower?
    A

    Solo's small non-road power equipment engines are warranteed for a period of two years. If any emission control related part on your engine is defective, the part will be repaired or replaced by Solo.

    Will Talstar leave a mist on windows?
    If I use a Solo 451 Mist Blower to apply Talstar P to shrubs and bushes that are close to a house, will the Talstar P leave a visible residue on window glass? I'm worried that I will not be able to control the large volume of mist from the blower, and that it will make windows visibly dirty.

    There is potential for Talstar to leave a slight residue on windows. We would advise to make your application on a day that is not too windy. Be sure to review our video for using the Solo 451 as you can adjust the setting.

    When would you suggest purchasing the additional pump for the Solo 451?
    A
    We would suggest buying the booster pump when you are wanting to reach higher than the Solo 451 blows. The general misting range is 40' horizontal and 35' vertical for hard-to-reach spraying areas

    Can the Solo 451 apply dust insecticides?
    I would like to buy a high end gasoline engine powered back pack sprayer that could also be used to apply dry powders to vegetation, such as diatomaceous earth - if such a thing is available.

    We are not aware of a backpack sprayer that will apply a liquid and dust. If you locate one, please let us know and we can try and make it available for you. We apologize for this inconvenience.

    Can the also Solo 451 Mist Blower be used to apply granulars/seeds?
    A
    No, the Solo 451 Mist Blower can only disperse water based liquids not granules or seeds of any kind. We do carry spreaders for applying granules.

    What is the best sprayer/mister option for residential application for mosquitoes?
    So many to choose from....??? about 5,000 square feet.

    Our most popular applicator for mosquito treatments would be the Solo 451 Mist Blower. It is included in our Professional Mosquito Control Kit. The Chapin Premier 2 Gallon Hand Pump Sprayer would be a great handheld option.

    Would like to start a job getting rid of fleas and Mosquitos. It would only be part time work
    What kind of sprayer would be best for residential and rec areas like baseball fields.

    Can the Solo 451 Mist Blower be used with a product containing glyphosphate for weed control?
    A

    Water-based products can be dispersed with the Solo 451, however we usually do not recommend applications of glyphosate since it can drift when it blows during operation. There may be desired plants, flowers, shrubs, trees or grass that you do not wish to harm that could potentially be hit with the mist causing injury.

    Is it possible to just use this unit as a blower alone? I don't want to own 2 blowers if one does the job of both.

    According to manufacturer label, the Solo 451 Mist Blower also enables the removal of leaves, grass, paper, dust or snow, e.g. in gardens, sports stadiums, parking lots or driveways; when used as a sprayer, without filling – without a liquid pump.     Can Conserve/Spinosad or compost tea be used in the Solo 451?
    A

    You will want to follow label instructions for each product that you apply using the Solo 451 Mist Blower. The use of biologicals could cause clogging in some situations. Per the Conserve product label, "you will want to dilute the product with water and apply using suitable hand or power-operated application equipment (such as portable pump-up, backpack, hydraulic, boom)." We do not recommend using compost tea in the equipment.

    Is the 35' vertical spray achievable without the additional pump?
    Wanted to confirm the rated 35' vertical spray can be achieved without the need to purchase the Solo pump.
    A

    While you should not need the booster pump to reach at least 20 feet, if you are consistently needing to spray vertically, then it will be much easier and faster with the Liquid Booster Pump.

    What is a good product to use in Solo 451 Mist Blower when spraying eaves to prohibit wasps and dirt daubers?
    A

    Cyzmic CS  is a great product for treating those flying, stinging insects like wasps and hornets.  It can be used in your Solo 451 Mist Blower.  You can add a quick knock down insecticide like ExciteR, which will provide a much quicker knock down of the insects it contacts, while the Cyzmic CS provides the 30 day outdoor residual.

    Can the Solo 451 Mist Blower be used to apply fungicides to a small vineyard?

    Yes, the Solo 451 Mist Blower can be used to apply fungicides in a vineyard as long as the product(s) you are using in it are labeled for that type of application.

    Can I use pre mixed 2 cycle 50:1 gas in the Solo 451 Mist Blower?
    A

    The oil and gas mixture will depend on which oil is used inside of the Solo 451 Mist Blower. If you are using the Solo 2T Oil, the mixing ratio is 1:50. If you are using any other two stroke oil, the mixing ratio is 1:25.
