Conserve SC Turf and Ornamental is a specialty insecticide that makes use of Spinosad as the active ingredient. Spinosad is made as a result of a fermentation of a naturally occuring organism which gives you the benefit of using a biological pest control product and the effectiveness of a synthetic. Conserve SC works quickly to kill listed pests and reduce the damage being done to turf and plants. Whether you are operating a nursery or greenhouse; are an arborist, lawn care professional, or golf course superintendent Conserve SC will provide effective control of pests without damaging listed ornamentals or turfs.
Conserve SC is low odor, very active at low use rates, and a four hour WPS re-entry interval (REI).

Use of Conserve SC in Greenhouses and Commercial Production of Herbaceous (Non-Woody) Ornamentals in Nurseries
A greenhouse is deflned as a structure or space enclosed with a nonporous covering inside which plants are produced. A nursery is deflned as a facility engaged in the outdoor production of plants. ·
Regardless of the crop or pest being treated (excluding thrips, leafminers, spider mites and/or diamondback moths), do not apply Conserve SC more than 10 times in a 12-month period inside a greenhouse or a structure that can be altered to be closed or open. If Conserve SC is used for thrips, leafminer, spider mite and/or diamondback moth control, do not apply Conserve SC more than 6 times in a 12-month period inside a greenhouse or a structure that can be altered to be closed or open regardless if other insect pests are also being treated.
For areas of commercial production of herbaceous (non-woody) ornamentals in nurseries (including plant propagation beds), do not apply Conserve SC more than 10 times in a 12-month period per crop regardless of the pest being treated (excluding thrips, leafminers, spider mites and/or diamondback moths). If Conserve SC is used in areas of commercial production of herbaceous (non-woody) ornamentals in nurseries (including plant propagation beds) for leafminer, spider mite and/or diamondback moth control, do not apply Conserve SC more than 6 times in a 12-month period per crop regardless if other insect pests are also being treated.
Because generations of a speciflc pest may overlap, rotate insecticides and miticides and never apply more than 3 consecutive applications of Conserve SC or products containing the same active ingredient or with the same mode of action (same insecticide group). Use only specifled label rates.
Make localized area treatments of ornamental plants where pest problems are anticipated or occur rather than general area-wide broadcast treatments.
Do not apply to seedlings of edible crops for transplanting or to any other stage of edible crops growing in greenhouses.
Incredible product

With all products please use Integrated Pest Management so that all insecticides don't lose their effectiveness. Conserve is an incredibly effective control for thrips, but like all insecticides it will lose its effectiveness if you don't follow an Integrated Pest Management routine. Use Conserve in a rotation with several different Modes of Action and you will preserve the effectiveness of Conserve and all your other insecticides. Incredible Product.

A statistfied Customer
By England's on 09/01/2017
This product is a very safe alternative of controlling web worms in our orchard and nursery. Labeled as organic but with real world results. We have been using it for 10 year and it always shows results. We also used it on Pawpaw trees to control the leaf rollers and web worms so it is very effective.

Stops citrus leaf miners
By Citrus on 06/28/2017
Three mls per gal of water has stopped the citrus leaf miners eating my young citrus leaves. I would have given 5 stars but it is so expensive. We will see if they build up any resistance to the spray. Also since it is organic makes it nice that you can spray citrus that has fruit. Nice strength. Not the watered down stuff.

Fresh Product Works Great
By Bryan on 12/20/2019
The gray bottle indicates new packaging and is fresh. The concentration of Spinosad is 23 times stronger then other bottles of same product. It is very effective on spider mites and I have been using it for years. This is the only miticide that stays effective on the plant for days. I use it through veg and into week 4 of flower.

It is safe for vegetables, correct?
Spinosad wil not persist in the environment. Sunlight and soil microbes break it down into carbon, hydrogen, oxygen and nitrogen. It is classified as an organic substance by the USDA National Organic Standards Board that is safe to be used on vegetables as labeled. Conserve SC itself is not OMRI or NOP approved. We also sell Natural Guard Spinosad Landscape and Garden RTS, which is certified organic.

Conserve SC can be applied as a mound drench to treat fire ants. Per the product label:
Dilute Conserce SC at a rate of 0.1 oz. per gallon of water.
"Apply diluted Conserve SC to individual fire ant mounds as a drench application. Use 1 to 2 gallons per mound depending upon the mound size. For mounds less than 8 inches in diameter, use 1 gallon of dilution per mound. Use a higher volume, up to 2 gallons, on mounds 8 inches or larger in diameter. Apply approximately 10% of the dilution volume around the perimeter of the mound out to about 12 inches and pour the remaining volume directly on the mound. Do not disturb mounds prior to application. If possible, apply following a recent rainfall. For best results, apply in cool weather, 65 to 85 degrees F, or in early morning or late evening hours. Treat new mounds as they appear. Do not use pressurized sprays as they may disturb the ants and cause migration, reducing control."
Conserve SC will start working by contact and ingestion within minutes of application, but more results will be evident within 1-3 days. Conserve SC will continue to work for up to 14 days after application.
