Southern Ag Basagran Sedge Control is a selective post-emergence herbicide formulated specifically for controlling sedge, annual sedges, yellow nutsedge, nutgrass, and other broadleaf weeds. Use Southern Ag Basagran Sedge Control over the top of listed ornamental plants. Flexible and cost effective, Southern Ag Basagran Sedge Control can be mixed with other herbicides and has a low use rate of 0.75 oz. for every 1,000 sq. ft.

There is only one other product I have found locally that will kill nutsedge, and it only comes in 1-quart ready-to-use spray bottles at $7 each. Southern Ag Basagran Sedge Control is much more economical. I simply add a little to the broadleaf weed control in the tank sprayer and the nutsedge is history, as they say. A bottle this size should last me all summer.

Basagran can be applied to kill Nutsedge in most established turf grasses. Be sure to review the product label to make sure your specific grass is tolerant.
