    Can you use SpeedZone on mondo and Asian jasmine to control weeds?

    You should not use SpeedZone herbicide around desirable groundcovers like mondo or Asian Jasmine. Please let us know what weeds you are targeting so that we can recommend a more appropriate product for your needs.

    SpeedZone Lawn Weed Killer Concentrate should only be applied to listed, established lawns. Avoid applications/drift on bushes, roses, and other plants.

    Will SpeedZone Lawn Weed Killer Concentrate kill bittercress? How long is the mixed solution good for? A day or two?

    SpeedZone Lawn Weed Killer Concentrate is not labeled to kill or control bittercress. You also do not want to keep it for more than 24 hours once it has been mixed. This is because the mixture will no longer be in suspension and would have lost its potency and efficacy.

    It rained 12 hours after applying SpeedZone Lawn Weed Killer Concentrate. Do I need to reapply?
    A

    Per the label, if you water your lawn or if it rains within 4 hours of an application of SpeedZone Lawn Weed Killer Concentrate it will reduce the effectiveness of the product. We usually recommend a window of 24 hours but after 12 hours if the area dried, it is still good and there's no need for you to apply again.

    It is best to apply SpeedZone Lawn Weed Killer Concentrate when no rain is expected within 24 hours of application.

    Will Gordon's Speed Zone kill Creeping Woodsorrel?
    I have a Bermuda lawn that got hit with Creeping Woodsorrel and I would rather not have to manually pull out each individual plant if I can avoid it.

    Yes, SpeedZone Lawn Weed Killer Concentrate is labeled for oxalis aka yellow woodsorrel and creeping woodsorrel when used as directed on the product label.

    Will Speed Zone kill black medic and it's mature seeds ready to drop and reproduce?
    The black medic has almost mature seeds , will this product kill the seeds before they can start to germinate

    SpeedZone Lawn Weed Killer Concentrate is labeled and will treat for and suppress black medic, but not kill the seedlings that are present. Please review the product label to make sure your turf grass is tolerant of this product. We also recommend that you consult with your local cooperative extension office Master Gardener on using other active ingredients in your specific lawn type.

    Will Speedzone have an effect on Star of Bethlehem?
    Star of Bethlehem flower grows wild in my established lawn of fescue lawn. Will Speedzone work?

    SpeedZone Lawn Weed Killer Concentrate is not labeled to treat Star of Bethlehem. You may use a product such as Dismiss Turf Herbicide instead. Please be sure to review the product label for complete application instructions and to ensure your turf is tolerant.

    I have a violet/dollar weed problem. Some of the grass is fescue, some is St. Augustine.
    The lawn gets partial shade in the pm.

    SpeedZone Lawn Weed Killer Concentrate - 20 oz. cannot be used on St. Augustine grass.  Speedzone Southern, you can use.

    Can I use SpeedZone Lawn Weed Killer Concentrate to control weeds in St. Augustine grass?

    Speedzone Lawn and Weed Killer is not labeled for use on St. Augustine and most likely would cause damage if used on St. Augustine lawns. Speedzone Southern is labeled for use on St. Augustine grass. According to the Speedzone Southern product label: The turf tolerance to this product may vary and temporary turf grass yellowing may occur on St. Augustine. Please take a few moments to read through the product label completely for full instructions and other precautions.

    Can this be used in hay field that is later or next year grazed on by horses and cattle?

    SpeedZone Lawn Weed Killer Concentrate  is not labeled to be applied to Hay fields.  We would recommend to use Grazon HL in this area.

    I was reading reviews for SpeedZone and I noticed most questions are from central to northern states. Is this product safe to use in the south?

    SpeedZone Lawn Weed Killer Concentrate technically can be used in any state as long as it is not restricted there.  It is labeled mainly for cool-season grasses, which you would typically find in the northern states, but it can also be used on Bermuda and zoysia grasses, which are typically found in the south.

    We suggest doing a compatibility test in a small jar before tank mixing Talstar P and SpeedZone Lawn Weed Killer Concentrate. You can view tank mixing procedures under General Application Instructions on page 3 of the Talstar P label.

    Can SpeedZone Lawn Weed Killer Concentrate be used on St Augustine grass?
    I have a section of yard that is a mix of Bermuda and St Augustine. I'd like to find a weed control that can be used on both. Can Speedzone be applied in this situation? Thanks for your time

    Speedzone Lawn and Weed Killer is not labeled for use on St. Augustine and most likely would cause damage.  You may want to consider Speedzone Southern instead, which is labeled for use on both St. Augustine and Bermuda grasses.

    I am living in PA. I would like to kill wild violet in my yard. When is the best season?

    We would recommend using SpeedZone Lawn Weed Killer Concentrate  in listed, established turf for treating wild violets. They are best treating in the spring when actively growing around early May in PA.
