Talon Ultrablok is a rodenticide from Syngenta, one of the best rodent baits on the market. This is because it contains the active ingredient Brodifacoum, which has no known cases of resistance. The product is also specially designed to be great at attracting the rodents to the bait, making Talon Ultrablok very palatable. Brodifacoum is an extremely potent chemical, making the elimination of the rodent population quick and relatively painless. Talon Ultrablok gives the rodents a lethal dose after just one night of feeding. After four or five days of applying Talon Ultrablok, the first dead rodents will appear. Recommended areas include obvious places like gnawed holes, inside hidden places, in corners, or anywhere that rodents or their waste has been seen. Remove any other food sources away from these areas as possible before placing Talon Ultrablok.

NORWAY AND ROOF RATS
Apply 4–22 blocks of Talon Ultrablok (usually at intervals of 15–30 ft) per placement. Maintain an uninterrupted supply of fresh bait for 10 days or until signs of rat activity cease. For use in sewers, securely attach one end of wire to Talon Ultrablok and the other end to a stationary structure such as the bottom step of a manhole ladder or to a sewer grate, allowing just enough wire for the block to rest on manhole benching. If benching is not present, suspend block a few inches above the high water line or place Talon Ultrablok on a board supported by opposing steps of the ladder. Securing Talon Ultrablok in this manner will prevent removal by rats or water. Maintain an uninterrupted supply of fresh bait for at least 10 days or until signs of rat activity cease.
HOUSE MICE
Apply 1 bait block per placement. Space placements at intervals of 8–12 feet. Two blocks may be needed at points of very high mouse activity. Maintain an uninterrupted supply of fresh bait for 15 days or until signs of mouse activity cease.
FOLLOW-UP
Replace contaminated or spoiled bait immediately. Collect and dispose of all dead animals and (when baiting operations are to be ceased) unconsumed bait according to the Pesticide Disposal instructions. To prevent re-infestation, limit food, water and harborage as much as possible. If re-infestation does occur, repeat treatment.
USE RESTRICTIONS
Do not place near or inside ventilation duct openings. Do not contaminate water, food, feedstuffs, food- or feed-handling equipment, or milk- or meat-handling equipment or surfaces that come into direct contact with food. When used in USDA inspected facilities, this product must be applied in tamperresistant bait stations. Do not broadcast bait.
Burrow baiting with Talon Ultrablok is prohibited.
