Yes, Taurus SC Termiticide is labeled to control European earwigs. Please keep in mind that this product is only labeled for outdoor use around the perimeter of a structure. Talstar P would be a great choice for earwigs. You can spray both indoors and outdoors with this product. It is one of our best sellers, has a long residual, is odorless, dries clear, leaves no stains, is non-irritating to the skin, and won't break down easily with rainfall. Also, be sure to focus on mulched areas, or areas that hold moisture in the lawn.
It is best not to apply Taurus SC if it is going to rain the same day. If possible it should be applied at least 24 hours before you are expecting any rain. As long as the product is applied on a non-windy day and at least 24 hours before rain, it will not wash away.
Taurus SC Termiticide should not harm lizards. It could kill the insects they are feeding on, thus making them go somewhere else for food.
There are no toxic products labeled for lizards, geckos or any reptiles or amphibians, and given the highly beneficial nature of these creatures there is not likely to be any products for them any time soon. The reason they are on your property is because they can find food and harborage. Take away their food and they will forage somewhere else. Take away the conditions they need for hiding and they will seek refuge someplace else.
You really have two options here:
1.Exclusion. Total exclusion can be hard to achieve particularly around the roof-line where there are going to be gaps that would be very hard to close off, but there also could be some obvious flaws such as broken vent screens, holes around cables, pipes or wires, or gaps under doors. All of these can easily be closed with brush strips, caulking, copper mesh (Stuf-fit), or some other suitable material. Exclusion is the best choice, because it is permanent, and eliminates or reduces the problem in the future too.
2.Outdoor habitat modification. In short get rid of the reasons lizards are there in the first place. They are there because they are finding the food they need to survive (insects) and a place to harbor. If you can eliminate either of these essentials, you can get rid of the lizards. Spray a good residual insecticide such asCyper WP around the outside of your home to help cut down on the number of insects the lizards are eating. If lizards cannot find enough food they will either move on or starve. Eliminate as much clutter and debris around the outside of your home as possible to eliminate the places lizards like to hide. Rake back mulch or rocks at least 6 inches from the structure
If you need to get rid of the lizards that are already indoors the only options are catching them by hand or using glueboards placed in areas where the lizards travel
As long as the area that Taurus SC Termiticide was spilled on is dry it should be safe to be around. Generally you could just use water to hose the area and wash it away. There are no fumes from the product that would cause any harm.
Taurus SC Termiticide is a concentrate that you can use for spot treating active termite infestations in wood. It would also be recommended to use it as a trench application around the home for prevention. You may want to take a look at our Termite Control Guide for more information on treating and preventing termites.
For treating an attic the best product to use would be the Boracare. It can be mixed with water and applied with a paint brush or a pump sprayer directly to any raw wood surface you have access to in the attic. The Boracare will soak into the wood and dry and last for the life of the wood.
For hard to reach areas, using Premise Foam or Fuse Foam will expand inside wall voids, cracks crevices and transfer throughout the colony after the termites/ants have come into contact with it.
Taurus SC Termiticide is only used for outdoors, because it's only labeled for outdoor used except for indoors as spot treatment. For roaches, we recommend using Roach Rotation Kit A. Roach Control Kit Rotation A is ideal for beginning or cleanout treatments of cockroach infestations in homes, apartments, and similar areas. This kit contains the chemical products we recommend using after you have been able to Inspect the treatment area and take Preventative measures such as eliminating food and water sources and harborage areas. Using all these techniques together is crucial for effective Roach Treatment. Our Roach Control Kits include Catchmaster 100i Insect Monitor glue boards to help monitor your infestation and treatment. Maxforce FC Magnum is a powerful roach bait gel that contains five times the active ingredient as regular Maxforce FC roach bait, killing roaches by ingestion, contact, and transfer from one to another. Gentrol Point Source Stations are a convenient and discreet way to apply the Insect Growth Regulator hydroprene, effectively interrupting roaches’ breeding. Cyzmic CS is an insecticide concentrate with two powerful active ingredients, providing both a quick initial kill and long-lasting residual treatment. Glue boards are a simple tool for monitoring roach activity before, during, and after treatment.
Yes, Taurus SC Termiticide can be applied one foot up and one foot out directly up against the structure for crawling insect control foundation barrier. Termite applications should be done by trenching and drilling concrete to disperse the product.
Taurus SC is not labeled for mole crickets. You cannot use Taurus SC out in the lawn as this type of treatment is prohibited by the Taurus product label. Taurus can only be used on or within one foot of a structure. We have a great Treatment Guide for Mole Crickets here.

Taurus SC is not labeled to be applied as a broadcast over the yard. Protecting the home is most important. Even if you have not seen evidence of termites at the house, we would recommend doing a trench treatment for protection around the structure and piers. For monitoring termites, you could look at using the HexPro Termite Baiting System to detect activity.
No, it would not be recommended or legal to mix Taurus SC or Dominion 2L at rates other than what is stated on the product label.

When using a product like Taurus SC, so long as you trench the outside wall of the foundation and the piers in the crawl space, you do not have to trench the inside wall of the foundation.
Taurus SC Termiticide is not labeled for fire ants and it is not labeled to be used as a broadcast application, so we are unable to provide this information. We would recommend using Extinguish Plus Fire Ant Bait. A broadcast treatment across the entire area would be best so that the fire ants do not just move their mounds to other areas. If you do an individual mound treatment, be sure to treat at least three feet out as well. There are no grazing restrictions for companion animals, such as horses. You will use 1.5-2 lbs. per acre for a broadcast application and 2-5 tablespoons for individual mounds.
Yes, it is necessary to trench with Taurus SC around all 4 sides of the home or other structure you are treating, in order to ensure that you have a complete barrier all the way around. Once you have completed the trenching application, the product will remain active for up to 10 years. You may want to take a look at our Termite Treatment Guide if you have not already done so.
