As long as the Taurus SC Termiticide as had time to dry and bind to the soil it should not be affected by power washing the home. Avoid spraying or displacing the treated soil.
Taurus SC Termiticide should not be applied away from the structure or within 15-20 ft from an edible tree. It is labeled for foundation applications as directed. Please provide the insect species for an alternate recommendation that will fit your needs.
Taurus SC Termiticide should not be applied to areas where there are cattle or livestock.
The residual for Taurus SC Termiticide will depend on which application method you are using. If you are doing a trenching application, it will last in the soil for up to 10 years. If using as a perimter spray (1 foot up the siding, 1 foot out into the soil all the way around the perimeter, along with around entry points like doors and windows), it will last about 6 months.
Taurus SC Termiticide cannot be used to just spray woods for termites and there really isn’t much you can do for them there. They are natures recyclers so should be left alone in that area. Taurus SC and Permetherin SFR cannot be mixed together.
We recommend that you trench and drill around the structure when applying Taurus SC Termiticide . Please refer to our Termite Treatment Article/Video for more detailed application instructions. It is very important to trench each side of the hollow blocks, even more important than drilling into each block to inject the Taurus SC Termiticide solution. The problem is that the termites will be still be able to build tubes on the outer areas of the blocks and still access your home. Your treatments will be far more successful if you trench and treat on either side of the hollow block. Bora-Care can be applied 90 days after the Taurus SC Termiticide application for treatment of the raw wood.
Taurus SC Termiticide can only be applied right up against a structure and not broadcast over a large area, so there is not an acre rate.
Taurus SC Termiticide is NOT labeled for indoor general pest control. The Taurus SC Termiticide product label only allows indoor applications to wall voids (behind sheet rock), unfinished attics, unfinished basements, and crawlspaces for active termite infestations. Taurus SC Termiticide could be harmful if used indoors and would be in violation of the product label.

Taurus SC Termiticide can be applied a foot up and a foot out directly against the structure on all sides. It cannot be used in the garage. You must keep all applications outside of the structure. There is no need to reapply Taurus SC Termiticide if rainfall occured 14 hours after treatment. That is plenty of time for the product to become rainfast.
Taurus SC is labeled for roaches. Keep in mind that this product can only be applied outdoors around the perimeter of a home or other structure.
When doing a trench treatment for termites 4 gallons of mixed solution of Taurus SC Termiticide needs to be used to treat every ten linear feet of trenching.
Taurus SC Termiticide should be applied when you are not expecting any rainfall for at least 24hrs following the application. It should not be applied within 15 feet of bodies of water per the product label.

Taurus SC Termiticide should NOT be applied to trees, lawns, etc. It is strictly labeled for applications against the structure topically for crawling insects and in the soil for termite treatments. We normally recommend using soemthing like Bifen IT to treat for pests such as webworms.
