The active ingredient in Tempo SC actually is also in the Temprid SC along with the active igredient from Merit, Imidacloprid. In Temprid SC, beta-cyfluthrin (Tempo) provides a quick knockdown for immediate control, while the imidacloprid (Merit) provides long-lasting results and far-reaching control through a transfer effect but kills closer to do so. The two active ingredients affect targets pests differently, offering complete and unique control for the toughest pests, even when resistance is a concern. Plaster beetles feed on mold, mildew and other types of fungus so if you are finding them in your home there is a moisture issue that needs to be addressed. They can also become an issue after a heavy rain. Perimeter spraying with a product like the Tempo SC Ultra can help with these.
