    Tempo SC Ultra states that if you get the product on your skin to take off any clothes that you got the product on off immediately, wash for 15 minutes, and contact poison control or a physician. The number for poison control is 1-800-334-7577

    Tempo SC Ultra should only be applied using a hand pump sprayer, backpack sprayer, or hose end applicator and can be applied to turf-grass, recreational areas, landscaping ornamental plants, interior plantscapes, and others.

    Will this kill anobiid powder post beetles?
    I have a log house built in 1874 and am currently infested with anobiid powder post beetles. The Timbers are 8 inches thick. Will this penetrate and kill them?
    A

    No, Tempo SC Ultra would not be appropriate for treating wood/logs or for powder post-beetle treatments. If the timber you need to treat has any sort of stain, finish, or paint on the surface you will need to strip or sand it off until you have raw wood exposed and treat it with a product like Boracare. Boracare is the best option for powder post beetles and will absorb into the wood to kill any new beetles that may progress in their life cycle within the wood and try to emerge. Boracare will not penetrate through sealed/wood and must be applied with a sprayer or paint brush/roller to the raw wood surface. Timbers 8 inches thick will require 2 coats to be able to penetrate to the center.

    Will it hurt if I sprayed my sweet corn accidentally with this product?
    A

    Tempo SC Ultra is not labeled to be used on any fruits or vegetables at all no matter the timing. Any vegetables, fruit, herbs/spices treated with Tempo SC Ultra should be discarded and nothing eaten from the plants for at least a growing season.
     
    We do carry another product called Bayer Advanced Vegetable and fruit spray which contains the same active ingredient Cyfluthrin but in a different formulation which allows it to be used on edible vegetation.

    Can Temop be sprayed on gardens, flowers & shrubs, and trees?
    A

    Tempo SC Ultra can be sprayed on ornamental plants and trees but not anything edible.  We recommend avoiding spraying any blooms/flowers to limit contact with pollinators.

    If I accidentally sprayed my vegetables and herbs with Tempo, are they safe to eat if washed?

    Tempo SC Ultra is not labeled to be used on edible vegetation. If this product has been sprayed on edible vegetation, you will want to discard the items and not consume for the growing season. We do carry products that can be applied to edibles.

    Can you spray on wet yard?

    You can apply Tempo SC Ultra to a lawn that has dew from the morning.  It should not be applied to an oversaturated area or when rainfall or other irrigation is expected within 24 hours of application drying time.

    Tempo SC Ultra is labeled to control aphids. It is also labeled to control scale insects (crawler stages). Please be sure to review the product label for more information and complete application instructions.

    Does Tempo SC Ultra kill evergreen ash borers?

    Tempo SC Ultra is not specifically labeled for evergreen ash borers, and when applied could only be used as a foliar spray. This product is not meant to be used as a systemic treatment for borers. Instead, Dominion 2L is a great product used to treat ash borers and other boring beetles in trees. The active ingredient is Imidacloprid which is one of the highly recommended ingredients to use when treating this type of pest. Please be sure to review the product label for more information and complete application instructions.

    Is this product considered a repellent or a non-repellent?

    Tempo SC Ultra is considered a repellent but it is not a repellent, this just means that pests will still be able to come in contact with the residual and it will only kill those pests that do.

    Will Tempo SC Ultra kill all stages of fleas?
    Having a major flea problem in my home, garage and yard. Have tried almost everything and it's costing a fortune

    Tempo SC Ultra Insecticide is labeled to kill adult fleas in the yard but is not labeled to control the eggs, and it cannot be broadcast sprayed indoors.     Mixing Suspend Polyzone with Tempo SC?
    Since the suspend polyzone has ingredients that make it last longer and prevents rain from washing it off, would it assist the tempo SC to remain active longer?

    Since both products contain synthetic pyrethroids there is no valid reason to mix Suspend Polyzone and Tempo SC together, it would not make either product work better or produce better results, though it could make treated areas repellent to insects lessening the effectiveness of the treatment.

    The temperature of the water that you mix with Tempo SC Ultra doesn't matter. You can use either cold or warm water.
