    Will Tempo SC kill roundworms from our dog?
    He has been dewormed after having some issue.
    A

    Tempo SC Ultra is not labeled for any type intestinal parasite.  We apologize but we do not carry anything for treating lawns for intestinal parasites. Treating your dog as recommended by your vet is best.  If a lawn needs to be treated you would need to remove the top layer of soil and replace or keep pets out of the contaminated area for 1 year.

    Does Tempo SC Ultra kill roaches on contact? If not, how long before coming into contact with the treated area will roaches begin to die?
    A

    Tempo SC Ultra is not a contact kill but it does have a residual of up to 4 weeks. The time it takes for roaches to die after they come into contact with dried deposits of Tempo SC will depend on the life stage of the roach, how long they stay on the treated surface, and how long the dried deposit of Tempo SC has been in place. You can expect the roaches to die anywhere from 1 hour - 24 hours after they come into contact with treated areas. If you are having a heavy roach infestation, look over our article How To Get Rid of Roaches for helpful details, hints and product recommendation for controlling the colony the fastest way to eliminate them for good at the source.

    If I have ants inside my house and spray Tempo SC outside with the ants be trapped inside?

    Tempo SC Ultra will not trap ants inside the home when applied outside.  You can spray it in cracks and crevices, along baseboards, door frames, etc. for further control of insects inside, though.

    Would you use Tempo SC Ultra to treat fleas in a daycare facility?

    Due to varying rules and regulations, we cannot make recommendations for day care settings. We would recommend contacting the Department of Agriculture to find out which products are safe for use in a daycare facility.

    Will Tempo SC Ultra kill or ham pollinators? Wanting to treat a huge fly problem at my home due to horses near me.

    Tempo SC Ultra can kill pollinators like bees if you spray them directly or they contact treated surfaces. To reduce risk to pollinators, we recommend that you avoid spraying flowering plants and that you treat in the morning or evening when they are less active. 

    Additionally, for fly control near livestock we recommend using traps such as the Flies Be Gone. These traps are easy to use and can each catch thousands of flies. Be sure to hang in a sunny area away from where you spend time. We have more tips in our Fly Treatment Guide here.

    Tempo SC Ultra is not labeled to kill bed bugs. Our bedbug kits come with all top of the line products that are available on the market today, along with instructions to follow.     Can Cy-Kick, Demand and Tempo be mixed together?
    We have issues with scorpions, black widows (and other spiders), mosquitoes and roaches. Can two or all three of these products be mixed in the same sprayer for quicker application?
    A

    There is no valid reason to mix Cy Kick CS, Demand CS and Tempo SC Ultra together, it would not make any product work better or produce better results, though it could make treated areas repellent to insects,  lessening the effectiveness of the treatment.  Cy-Kick or Demand alone would be great options for the listed insects.  If you want a faster initial knockdown during application you can add ExciteR.  If doing so, be sure to make as much direct contact with insects during application.

    Can you walk barefoot where you have sprayed Tempo SC Ultra after it is dry?
    A

    Tempo SC Ultra is safe to use as a broadcast to lawns and once dry would be safe to walk across.  Inside it cannot be used as a broadcast to interior surfaces and would only be applied in cracks and crevices where you would not contact it.

    Can you spray Tempo SC Ultra directly on a horse?
    I was told by a professional sprayer salesperson that I could spray a light mist directly on a horse's back and belly to help rid of flies?

    Tempo SC Ultra should NOT be applied to animals including horses.

    Will Tempo SC Ultra affect birds?
    Since I sprayed, according to the label, the hummingbirds especially are gone. I haven't seen many other birds either.

    We are sorry to hear that the hummingbirds are gone. When used as directed Tempo SC should not harm birds. Please be sure the birds were out of the treated areas until dried. If you still have concerns please contact Bayer at 800-331-2867.

    Can Tempo SC Ultra be mixed into a stain and applied to a log home?
    A

    No, Tempo SC Ultra can be mixed with water only.  Tempo SC Ultra, like most synthetic pyrethroids will last for about 4-6 weeks when used outdoors.
