Tempo SC Ultra will not harm rose bushes if used as directed on the product label.
Tempo SC Ultra is a liquid, not a powder. Treated areas should dry clear when used as directed on the product label.

Yes, Tempo SC Ultra will kill and eliminate various types of ticks. It is recommended that you mix the product at the rate of 8-16 ml per gallon of water. This can be used every 21-30 days as needed outdoors. Be sure to focus on the areas where ticks would be, such as on and around brush.
Also, please check out our Tick Guide for tips on how to treat and prevent ticks.
Since Tempo SC Ultra is labeled for use indoors as a crack and crevice spray, you could potentially use it as part of a carpet beetle treatment program. We recommend adding an Insect Growth Regulator (IGR) when treating for carpet beetles, such as NyGuard IGR. You could also use a ready-to-use product like NyGuard Plus which has both an insecticide and an IGR in one product. A better choice for use in the drop ceiling may be an insecticide dust, though, since it is a dry product that would not damage the tiles, and a dust lasts much longer than a spray in void spaces like a drop ceiling. Delta Dust can be used in a drop ceiling for carpet beetles and other crawling insect pests there. Or you may consider our Carpet Beetle Control Kit which includes the NyGuard Plus, CimeXa Dust, and glue traps.
Be sure that you have located and removed the source of the infestation as well. We have more tips in our Carpet Beetle Treatment Guide here.
Tempo SC Ultra can be used outside your raised garden, being careful to avoid root zones. We recommend not to spray on a windy day and cover the garden while you're treating. You could also use baits, like the Advance Carpenter Ant Bait along with the Maxforce Carpenter Ant Bait Gel in Bait Plate Stations or Ants No More Bait Stations.
Tempo is not labeled to control slugs. Slugs put down a continuous layer of mucus which makes it impossible for dried deposits of insecticide sprays to reach the actual slug. You will need to use a slug bait such as Sluggo Plus or Hi-Yield Improved Slug and Snail Bait to control the slugs near your plants.
Tempo SC Ultra is not labeled to be used where animals graze. Another option would be Essentria All Purpose. This can be used for insects in pastures and is safe for grazing purposes
Yes, Tempo SC Ultra can be used to control gnats and flies.
Tempo SC Ultra lasts up to 30 days outdoors and up to 90 days indoors.
Tempo SC Ultra should NOT be applied to animals including horses.
No, Tempo SC Ultra cannot be applied daily and is not a contact kill to be sprayed as you see insects. Residual of the product is 30 days outside and it can take time to kill those fleas that contact a treated area. Applying everyday will irritate the fleas more and make them more active. If needed you would not reapply for at least 7-10 days. We have a guide here that can help explain the most effective treatment for fleas as well.
Tempo SC Ultra should be applied to cracks and crevices only. Pans should be removed during the application. You can place them back after the product has completely dried.
Tempo SC Ultra can help to kill those bees that contact a treated area long enough to receive a lethal dose and helps deter them from nesting in treated areas.
Tempo SC Ultra cannot be used on any pasture area or anywhere that animals graze so we would not recommend applying in those areas. If you are referring to livestock housing areas, animals can return to the treated area once dry, normally a few hours.
Tempo SC Ultra is labeled for carpet beetles if that is what you mean, but only along baseboards and in cracks and crevices around infested rooms. We are not able to find any information on a carpet weevil insect.
Yes, you can tank-mix Tempo SC Ultra and an IGR together in the same tank to apply together. You will want to be sure you don’t spray on top of where you bait and don’t bait on top of where you spray. This will cross-contaminate the bait and roaches will not be attracted to it. Please review our How to Get Rid of Roaches Guide as well as our Roach Control Kits.
