    Q
My couch was accidentally sprayed by Temprid. Once dry, okay to sit on it? Or over time, will it become safe?
    A

Temprid Ready To Spray cannot be used on the tops of couches where it would come into prolonged skin contact.  We would recommend steam cleaning the the couch if possible to remove the residual.  You may also contact the manufacturer for instructions on the treatment/cleaning of the couch. They can be reached at 800-331-2867.

    Q
Will the Temprid product work for killing fleas?
We have 3 dogs and now have fleas in the house with all hardwood and laminate flooring. Would the Temprid work on the hard surfaces like base boards, insides of closets, etc?
    A
Temprid Ready To Spray should only be applied to the hard surface cracks and crevices and carpeted areas/rugs where the insects are present and not on the surface of the hardwood floors. You do not need to broadcast spray on hard flooring such as hardwoods or tile. Those surfaces can be vacuumed and/or mopped as needed, but there would not be any place for the fleas to hide or lay eggs in those areas. If there are deep crevices in older flooring, then be sure to vacuum those areas well and then you can spot treat with the Temprid Ready To Spray if needed. Please take a few moments to review our treatment article on How to Get Rid of Fleas for more information on flea eradication.

    Q
Why do you have to shake the can so it can work?
I used the spray night before last . And the spray has stopped working. I tried to shake the can multiple times.
    A

Temprid Ready To Spray is a ready-to-use aerosol of Temprid FX that comes in a new and convenient can using Bag-on-Valve technology.  The benefit of this is that the can completely empties, so product does not go to waste.  However, the tradeoff is that the can must be shaken quite vigorously before and during the application in order for the can to continue spraying.

    Q
How long does it take Temprid Ready Spray to kill bed bug nymphs? I used it on mattress encasement folds and I'm still gettting bites. It has been a week. Used with Gentrol. Please help!
    A

It is important for the bedbug eggs to be sprayed directly. The young nymphs will be eradicated by the dried residual of the product after it is applied. There is not a specific time. We recommend that you treat once a week for bedbug control until you have gone 30 days without bites. Below I have included a guide that offers some really helpful information including other products that will be great to use for treatment.

    Q
A week after Temprid was treated in my home heavily, it still smells strong of sweet/vanilla. Normal?
    A

Temprid Ready Spray only has a slight odor when sprayed. Temprid SC or FX concentrates generally have even less odor, especially once dry. You can open windows and turn on fans to help move the air around. If you have an odor of which you are unable to identify the exact source, then you can use Earth Care Odor Remover Bags for general area treatment.

    Q
What is the difference between Temprid SC and Temprid ready spray?
What is the difference between Temprid SC and Temprid ready spray? How long does it last as residual and is it safe to apply to mattress?
    A

Temprid Ready Spray has the same active ingredients as Temprid SC, however, there are less due to it being a different formulation. Temprid Ready Spray will last for approximately 30 days indoors once applied. Temprid SC will last about 90 days indoors once applied. They can both be applied to the tufts, folds and seams of your mattress.

    Q
Can I spray Temprid all over the bed?
I am seeing some bed bugs on my bed and on the corners of my wall. Just observed they are very small and I feel they have just been started. I am planning to use the Temprid spray all over my mattress. I do not have a frame so I have put my mattress directly on the carpet flooring room. Is that the best way to treat ? Please help
    A

Temprid Ready Spray cannot be applied on the entire surface of the bed, only listed cracks and crevices, tufts, folds and seams of the mattress. We do offer Steri-Fab that can be applied. Please take a few moments to review our article on How to Get Rid of Bedbugs for a successful program.

    Q
Can I spray my backpack with Temprid Read Spray for prevention of bedbugs?
    A

Temprid Ready Spray is not labeled for use on backpacks or any items that would have prolonged contact with a person and is primarily used as a crack and crevice spray. Most of our customers when traveling or trying to protect items such as backpacks, briefcases and carry on luggage will use Rest Easy Bed Bug Spray. It acts as a contact kill, residual and repellent for your belongings and is safe to be sprayed across your entire backpack.
