    Q
Can Tenacity Herbicide be applied at the same time as overseeding with Tall Fescue seed in the spring? I planned on using Tenacity along with a surfactant while new tall fescue seed is down before it has germinated to stay on top of weeds.
    A

Tenacity Herbicide is best applied at the same time as when you overseed for preemergent control of weeds. If you have already overseeded, then it is best to wait until after the 2nd mowing or 30 days (whichever is longer) to apply Tenacity with a Non Ionic Surfactant for post emergent control of weeds.

    Q
I purchased a 4 step lawn care program for my 10,000 sq ft lawn. Can you tell me what order should I apply? The first step of the program I will be applying is a 18-0-3 w/ Dimension pre-emergent control with spring fertilizer, Can or should I apply Tenacity before or after applying 18-0-3 w Dimension and should I overseed before or after?
My lawn back yard lawn is really bad this year. I'm in Southeast Massachusetts. the ground temp now is 50
    A

You can apply Tenacity as a pre-emergent anytime before seeding a cool-season lawn. If you are planning to overseed this spring, however, you cannot apply a product that has Dimension in it before seeding or until the new grass is well established (Dimension will prevent the turfgrass seeds from germinating). We would recommend that you aerate before applying any kind of pre-emergent so that you do not disturb your soil applications. Please review our Cool Season Lawn Care Schedule and Guide for more information.

    Q
Can Tenacity Herbicide be mixed with Weed-Out?
    A

Normally it is fine to mix two herbicides like this together.  It is always recommended to do a small jar test first just to make sure they combine well and there is no clumping or separating.  You will want to follow the label instructions for both products on tank mixing or how to do a compatibility test.

    Q
If Trimec Broadleaf herbicide has been applied 10 days ago, when can I apply Tenacity Herbicide as a post emergent for crabgrass control in a Tall Fescue lawn?
    A

If not applied around the same time you should wait 1 week to apply another herbicide. Tenacity Herbicide when mixed with a non ionic surfactant will control crabgrass up to the 4 tiller leaf state only and is best applied when it just emerges.  Drive XLR8 is actually the top product for crabgrass and can kill it best when it just emerges or after it has fully matured just not as good during the 2-4 tiller (middle) state. A methylated seed oil surfactant is also recommended for best results with Drive XLR8. Which you use can depend on the tiller stage of the crabgrass but Drive is usually the go to for post emergent control of crabgrass.

    Q
Wanting to treat poa annua I am noticing in my lawn. If I were to apply Tenacity now in April and do a 2nd application a few weeks later followed by treating with propiconazole in May and then applying Dimension 2 EW around Memorial Day, would this injure my lawn? I am just not sure about the timing of using all 3 of these.
    A

Tenacity Herbicide can be tank mixed with other herbicides, fungicides and insecticides when following the tank mixing instructions listed on the product label. We suggest doing a compatibility test in a small mason jar first to ensure the products mix thoroughly without clumping or separation.

    Q
    Does Tenacity Herbicide eliminate ajuga?
I am wondering if Tenacity will help us to deal with an ajuga (bugleweed) problem.
    A

Tenacity Herbicide is not labeled to control or kill ajuga.   We currently do not have any products that are labeled to eradicate Ajuga/Bugleweed, you may have to spot treat with something like Roundup QuikPro in the areas that have the weed and then reseed the areas in 2 weeks
