The best way to dispose of leftover mixed Termidor SC is to pour along the foundation of the home outside.
Nothing needs to be done for the swarmers. The Termidor SC application is still effective and will control the swarmers as well as long as they have contacted the treated areas.
Termidor SC can be applied around a mobile home, if used as directed. You can do a perimeter spray around the foundation, 6 inches up x 6 inches out.
In hard clay like that it may require rodding. Rodding is a technique many companies use to get the Termidor deeper in the ground than the normal 6-inch trench that you should dig. Many homeowners who decide to treat themselves do not do the rodding part, but if you can rod then of course is better than not doing it at all. Basically, after you dig your 6-inch deep trench, you would take a "rod", or a piece of rebar, metal, or anything that you can make an additional hole in the bottom of the trench every 12 inches apart. You can hammer or push your "rod" into the soil every 12 inches apart and try to get a couple of feet deeper. When you pour the 4 gallons per 10 lineal feet into the trench, the rod holes will allow the Termidor to quickly get that much deeper and provide a little extra protection. Even when this is not done though, Termidor will still provide you with the best form of protection money can buy.
As long as Termidor SC has time to dry and bind with the soil, the rain will not affect it. It is best to wait until you have a few days of no rain in the forecast so there is at least 24 - 36 hours time after you treat before it rains. After that, it will hold quite well to rain and weather.
No, Termidor SC cannot be applied through a drip pipe. For termite preventative/control treatments, you would need to trench treat. Please read the product label for complete application instructions. For pine tip moths, you can use Permethrin SFR or Talstar P, which is labeled for tip moths as well. Please read product labels for complete application instructions.
Yes, Termidor SC is labeled to control carpenter ants
Subterranean termite colonies can take up to 90 days to completely eliminate after a proper trench treatment has been made around the home foundation. If a termite treatment was made just recently with Termidor SC, you will need to give more time for the solution to make its way through the colony. You can also use Termidor Foam or the Termidor SC to spot treat in wall voids and door frames where active termites are found within the home if needed to speed up the transfer process of the chemical through the colony from another direction than just the soil. Keep in mind that in Florida and coastal regions, you experience both Drywood\Termites and Subterranean Termites. A trench treatment will not prevent drywood termites so proper exclusion and care of the external home surfaces, and using general insecticide sprays around potential entry points during spring and summer swarming seasons of drywood termites will help prevent them from gaining access to the structure as easily.

Termidor SC is not labeled for grasshoppers, you may consider Talstar P Professional Insecticide instead
You will drill holes every 12 inches, and still apply 0.8 ounces of Termidor SC per gallon of water using 4 gallons of solution for every 10 feet. Here is our guide that explains the best prevention when dealing with subterranean termites.
Yes, Termidor SC can kill wasps and eliminate their colonies, but it's not a "knockdown" product that will kill them immediately. Termidor is a liquid insecticide that's applied to the outside foundation walls of a structure to create a treated area. Insects can't see, smell, taste, or avoid the liquid, so they come into contact with it, ingest it, and share it with each other, unaware that it will kill them. The active ingredient in Termidor, fipronil, clings to the insects and transfers back to the nest, eliminating the other wasps inside. Depending on the size of the colony, you should see complete results within 1–3 weeks.
The product label says that drilling the slab inside the garage if more effective. This is because the garage is a separately poured slab, meaning the termites could come from deep underground and come up to the surface under the garage slab, and enter the wall where your door is going into the house untouched. You don't have to drill every wall in the garage, just the walls that are not exterior walls, where you have living space on the other side of the garage wall. So drilling the garage walls is the best way to protect all entry points.
Termidor SC can only be applied to the foundation of your home and in crawl spaces. Bora-Care can be sprayed in both the attic and crawl space but only to raw wood.
You can spray Termidor SC around the foundation 1-2 feet up and out on the ground for ant control where you see the ants trailing. This product offers a transfer effect, so as long as some of the ants come into contact with the product, they will transfer the effects of the product throughout the colony. Please be sure to review the product label for more information and complete application instructions.
Termidor SC Termiticide/Insecticide should be applied outdoors only to the foundation as directed for crawling insects and in trench/drilled holes for subterranean termite applications against the foundation in soil/concrete as directed. We do offer foams and wood treatment products for indoors for spot treatment or attic/crawlspace applications to wood. Here is an article on Drywood and one on Subterranean termites for more details.
You need to dig your trench right up next to your foundation. You need to treat with Termidor SC all of the soil around your foundation because that is how the termites will gain access to your home.
As long as your fruit tree is not directly sprayed with the Termidor SC or so close to the treatment area that runoff or overspray comes in contact with the fruit, Termidor is safe to use and is not systemic. The general rule of thumb is that you should keep Termidor treatments at least 10 feet away from any edible vegetation and you should discard anything that may be contaminated with a direct spray.
